The worst part is if JS can come back at these last 3 rounds and first catch Dungey then beat him in the last two, the MXoN could be robbed of the of the fastest riders in the world JS and Antonio.

First we have to see JS back and see if he can actually catch Dungey, think he will cover off Shorty in the last three rounds.

I loved seeing it because maybe if there are some consequences to signing SX only contracts, less riders will do it.

Every moto enthusiast in the world desires to see how Stewart would fair at the MXDN. James carries with him the most anticipation of any American rider (as the Unadilla hype showed), and his carreer proves he's the most dominant rider America has to currently offer. Who wouldn't wanna watch such a pleasurable talent ride?

Yet because of DeCoster and whatever cryptic beef he has with the Stewart camp he has decided to deprive moto-fans worldwide of Stewart's awe-inspiring skills. Isn't the whole point of the DesNations to see how the best of each country stack up??

Surely your being sarcastic. Is James great? Absolutely, one of the best and possibly the fastest man alive. Just not right now. that was painfully obvious at Unadilla.

DeCoster made the right call. Short put in the hard work and deserves to go.
It's obvious Bubba hasn't put in enough work yet. Maybe he'll get in better shape by the MXON, maybe not.
Team USA can't take that chance!

If James wants to ride the MXoN so much, I got three words for him.

The "best" team has been chosen, (Dungey, Short and Canard), period.

James is an awesome rider and all BUT, he proved himself that he is not prepared at this time for the MXON.

So what's all the whining about? He knows it, we know it, Roger knows it, team L&M knows it...........James is not MXON material, so move on.

Prepare for next year, race ALL the outdoors. He'll than be a shoe-in

Dominant? That was so 2 years ago. 3 1/2 races in a year and winning 1 or 2 does not make you dominant.

Team Puerto Rico was recruiting at Unadilla last weekend. They may end up with some very fast riders in Colorado.

OK. lets go fishing a little more. Was that promise to JS of a shot at spot on a MXdN team just to get him on a track to boost number of TV viewers, just so Suzuki could run those numerous Dungey commercials.

I realize he's the best in the business, but sometimes even the best can make a misguided decision. After all, Stewart draws huge crowds and has raced under much tougher pressure than we've seen Short crack under.

Roger's not a bad guy and I'm not gonna hate on him, but as a fan I feel it would be better for the whole sport if he rode, and personally, like the millions of other fans worldwide, I just wanna see him ride.
Buy a ticket to Florida and you can watch him put in some fast laps at his compound. If he wanted to ride the MXDN, maybe he should try riding some motocross. Pretty simple to figure out, I think.

I must not be a real moto head because I'm glad he didn't get picked.

James is a SX only rider on a SX only team. He needs to be getting his ass ready for A1 because it's obvious his team can't set up a bike for the outdoors.

Honestly I wouldn't care if he never lined up on the gate again, I think the racing is better without him.

Maybe Roger thought the circus (Bubba's World) crew would be a distraction from what is suppost to be a great event?

I think JS motivation for MXdn is only about the money.... Red Bull, Bubba's World.

Both Bubba and Decoster are sitting pretty right now. Bubba because he can always say that the USA didn't podium because he wasn't there, nice and smooth. Decoster can always say the same, he picked the best team with what he had at the moment, both get to sidestep the non podium finish this year,,,sweet
I like how you think in pre planned excuses. It gives an insight into how you are in your real life and how much of a little bitch you are.

The fact that some of you second guess DeCoster over Stewart is priceless. Shit like that just can't be made up!! I like Stewart and love to see him ride. But like he said in his letter, he's a SX rider on a SX Team with a SX only contract and they don't race outdoors and he wasn't ready and they weren't ready. He stated over and over and over about returning for his fans and sponsors and never did we hear anything about the MXdN until this weekend. Roger's been doing this for a long damn time, he's not just some Bubba come lately.

Roger has a solid team. Will be entertaining to see if Stewart tries to punt Dungey or Short off the track in the coming weeks.

Since this is a poo slingin thread here is some more uninformed speculation.... Maybe it was that (sarcasm alert) evil DC dangling a carrot to the Stewart camp to get him on a bike while the nationals were still running. You know its good for TV and attendance to have Bubba on a bike in your series.
Imagine the Bubbles world story line.
Bubba returns to racing and has a rough weekend but keeps riding and gets stronger and is an instrumental part of the team USA winning the MXoN again..... except he is not on the team!!!! I love that you cannot script motocross!!!

Nobody "promised" Bubba a spot on the MXdN team. He was considered for the position and he got passed over. That happens every day in the real world.
