Re: Canadians......who knew?

Now these are Canadians who I have nothing but respect for. A+ on this.

Great example of how great Canada and the US can be when we team up and work together.

There are lots of incredible Canadian war stories. Leo Major is a wild one

Francis Pegahmagabow was one of if not the deadliest sniper of WWI, unfortunately he was treated like absolute shit when he came home.

Of course, our finest hour, the taking of Vimy Ridge. My Great Grandfather fought in the battle, lost a leg to machine gun fire but managed to come home and become a founding member of the War Amps.

Correct you are sir. The Devil's Brigade is based on a true story. They did not like each other at first......they then became a "Band of Brothers".

Oh I know they were real. Precursors to today's Spec ops. True badasses.

Cool post, it would be so much more rational in here if users understood history.

If you were offended by my post we know why.  I actually complemented the thread since it’s interesting but I recognize the current administration as a complete joke so you all did your duty to downvote me. 🫡

Doing your best to keep non moto right wing thoughts only 😂

Understood but realize I didn’t call anyone out.  It was a general statement so no need for anyone to get butthurt over it.  I legit liked your post about this interesting info, seeing people post more like it and less about division would be sick.
If Michael deemed this a pro trump or pro right wing area of the website then I’d gladly stop posting in here. I’m not going to stop just because I don’t think like everyone in here.  That would be extremely weak.

Most posters are more mature dirt bike guys who tend to be more conservative. Some posters get their panties in a bunch when you talk/discuss religion or politics, I have no issue with either.

Thank you

Very quiet from our Northern neighbors, maybe they "Saw the Light"?

Canada and Mexico: Trump's 25% across-the-board tariffs on its US neighbors went into effect on Tuesday, March 4. Just two days later, Trump confirmed the US would pause tariffs on goods and services compliant with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) until April 2. For its part, Canada retaliated to the steel and aluminum tariffs with new duties on about $20 billion of US goods. The two countries have agreed to new trade talks.

Every Canadian division on the Western Front was considered first rate by the Germans in 1918. They were absolutely hard as fuck, if you wanted something held or taken send the Canadians.

Another little known fact is that the Canadians advanced the furthest inland from their beach (Juno) on June 6th 1944.

I’ve been to both Vimy Ridge and Juno beach, we were lucky to have had such men as allies.

Our New PM isn’t going to do a whole lot until the election is over. Being that he didn’t win any election, it’s the right thing to do. Kind of weird part of our system but not unprecedented.

In this case, I’m hoping for his re-election. I voted PC in the provincial election because old Dougie is doing a good job standing up for us, but I cannot, will not cast my vote for Pandering Pierre. Career politician who’s never had a real job, guy goes around playing dress up like he’s a blue collar Canadian. Fake as hell.

Carney is about as conservative as I’ve seen a Liberal Leader. Worked for the Conservatives under Harper.

He did donate another $39B to Ukraine though. I guess he had to get that done right away incase he didn't get elected.....(gotta set-up a retirement fund somehow, wink-wink nudge-nudge).

Go ahead and find a source on that one because I sure as hell haven’t seen it and there’s nothing reported that I can see.

You’d think you’d show at least one video of Canadians buying american booze by the pallet to smuggle across the border. You do know that legally you can only bring like a 40oz and a 24 pk of beer across the border but do keep up with your lies😂😂😂😂

His re election will make life more expensive for working Canadians.  He's Trudeau . but worse.  Enjoy the net zero objective he's going to push,  the globalist agenda... then there's the elephant in the room that his wife was good friends with gslaine maxwell.

Polieve is offering the carbon tax to be removed from law and a 15% reduction in income taxes.  It's time the taxpayer keeps more of their hard earned money.

15% tax reduction? What % are you currently paying?

You need your own DOGE team to trim all the fat.

44%.  Edited ... this is provincial and federal combined, but if it comes off the top of your cheque,  tax is tax.

Still trying to convince the daughter to move back to the states with me.  Unless we get a conservative government, Canada is screwed.

Yikes!

But you've got to pay for all that free healthcare somehow. It should be reduced 25% minumum.

Polieve is offering the carbon tax to be removed from law and a 15% reduction in income taxes.  It's time the taxpayer keeps more of their hard earned money.

In order to make that tax cut he’s going to cut a shit ton of programs like healthcare, dental, pharmaceuticals, child care etc.

Also, it’s not a 15% tax cut. It’s 15% of the taxes you pay. So your 44 won’t drop to 29. It’ll drop to 37.4, a 15% reduction. Still a cut, but not nearly as big as they’re advertising.

The one thing I’m really liking about Carney is that every question I’ve seen him answer, he gives a detailed, well thought out answer. Not saying that makes him honest, but he sure seems to know what he’s talking about to be able to do that off the cuff.
