I heard on SMX Insider, the AMA put together a WMX team for the 2025 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup.
Doing some research, it coincides with the 2025 ProMX Championship Round 1 - Wonthaggi, VIC.
I clicked the links for past races and get errors and saw something that said the live stream is only for AUS viewers.
I'd like to check this out with my daughter even though she says she's not interested in WMX. She wants to race with and beat the boys straight up!
Bonus question, why don't we see any women in pro AMA racing? Are they not fast enough or is there a rule excluding them?

In Europe It happens , I’m sure one of them qualified for mx 2 last year , I think it was lottie van drunen , but ama doesn’t seem to be as big on women’s racing , I wouldn’t even know who the top ama women are 👍

As it’s being run in conjunction with round 1 of the Aussie nationals I can only assume it will be part of the broadcast? The livestream is on SBS On Demand, which is Australia only, however replays are usually loaded to Stan Sport.

I'd not be surprised that the Live Stream is Not available Internationally, as I don't think it is done by SBS themselves.
But, I've directed OS viewers to try SBS On Demand for things like Dakar, and the OZ MX series, and Other Sports on SBS, and they've been able to get to see them through the Archives, after the live stream .
Perhaps that may be the case with the Oceana's?
I've No Idea if an OS-er would have to use a VPN to use SBS Online.
Check the social accounts of the women competing, probably instagram. They should have the details posted that you're looking for.
Lachlan Turner is a bit of a bad ass. We saw her in an Amateur event at Hangtown 3 years ago on a supermini and we were like who the shit is that kid? She was ripping. Have followed her since. Her older brother Lux is a main event guy, now becoming a top 10 guy in the 250 West SX.
I hope the team does well and would be stoked on a live feed or rebroadcast of this event.
How to watch?! The same way you watch the WNBA. Point the controller at TV and press the power button to off..🤠

Tomorrow - Our Sunday, at around 11.20am to 12 /1pm, SBS Have Wonthaggi on.
They generally have earlier Motos on 'tape' and sometimes, Live racing in the later part of the program - but, the show stops pretty early in the day.
No idea if they'll have the Women's racing - I think they may have at least a bit of it.
Not sure if there's a live stream from another source - often there is. I might do a bit of searching, once I get some work done.

It's a pay set up. was surprised to see I've already subscribed to the OZMX series, and, AUSBK. I'm getting old and forgetful, I guess. Hopefully they'll ad the ISDE in August ( it's yet to be on their calendar) as I've watched it on that service for a few years now.
This next Friday and Saturday, it's AUSBK, with a Night race at Eastern Creek / Sydney Motorsports Park. It's only a 20k drive for me, so, going both nights. I'm just about certain it will rain - as the 2 St George Night Races I went to, were rather wet, so it must be my fault............. Appin OZ MX round 2 on the 13th of April will probably share the same fait, as I'm going to that, to.
