I find that hard to believe but if it was, surely when it was pushed back out of the dealership when it was collected then there would have been a pretty audible noise?

Also, do people not check their bike over or at least lube their chain before riding it?

It sounded completely normal. It's just sliding on the plastic slider. Sounds exactly the same as it would sliding on the inside of the slider.

And I did check over the bike but I was mainly focused on the alternator cover they replaced and the master link clip since that's what was messed up the first time.

I also did lube the chain and like I said in my post I admit I should have noticed, but it also shouldn't have been installed that way regardless.

A dealer near me has them for $7600 plus tax. I am very tempted to go pick one up.

Pulled the trigger today. $7607 out the door at Romney Cycles. Already ordered that carbon skid plate from the UK and some SKDA numbers. Taking it out Sunday for its first ride. I’m stoked!

Anyone using one of these for harescramble/gncc style racing? Curious if there’s been any oversize gas tanks produced yet, I haven’t been able to find one.

Part of the reason I haven't seriously started to plan on buying one yet, that and the cost to put a 18" rear on it adds up.

Ricky Russel has been running a GasGas IMS tank and shrouds for the first two GNCC, not sure what it takes to make it fit though.

Sweet! Congrats. Did they do the updates yet (mapping, clutch, switch)? The new mapping is much better. The only other thing I'd do to a stock one (other than mapping) is a 110 rear tire. After that it's money.

Yes. I was told the bike had all the updates performed to it. I also ordered a 49T sprocket. Once these Pirellis are used up I’m going to put a 110 rear on for sure.

Hey! I am looking to sell the enduro engineering parts that came on my triumph if anyone is interested. I have full set of bark busters, skid plate, fork guard, radiator guards and rear brake guard. I’ll sell them all for $250 IMG 3673IMG 3672 0IMG 3668 1IMG 3669 3.jpeg?VersionId=vQ7zOMennuQleXX c6ppj6uv5UIMG 3667 2.jpeg?VersionId=6LLjz1llXVkF5G

I only have one ride in so far, but wow is this bike good. Looking forward to putting more time on it this weekend hopefully.

The 48T rear seemed just right for the bike. Maybe with a 110 rear and some deep conditions my opinion will change, but for now it will stay as is.

This was my first time purchasing SKDA graphics, but the quality and fit was excellent. Same for the Pro Carbon skid plate. That came surprisingly quick from the UK also. The only other change I’ve made so far is I swapped the bars to Pro Taper Evo SX Race bend.

Coming from a YZ250F I’m also quite pleased how this bike sounds. It’s quieter and way less raspy than my Yamaha was. You know you’re getting old when loud bikes no longer appeal to you.

Have the Akro on mine. Didn’t really help bottom end, but it helps mid to top pull really nicely. Didn’t really notice like a huge difference in sound but I wasn’t really going for noise anyway.

I believe Keefer has teased doing an exhaust shootout between the two (maybe HGS too, can’t remember what I saw) for the Triumph

I was leaning towards pulling the trigger on the FMF. The Akro looks a lot better but hard to justify the $1500.

I was able to get a solid deal on mine for Black Friday, my dealer was doing something like a 20% off all in stock items or something like that. I have sources to get most catalog (Parts, WPS, etc) for a great deal as well but my deal on the FMF Ti system was basically the same price as what I got the Akro for so it made me feel better about it😂

Yeah you can’t argue with that. I took advantage of the 20% deal for the WiFi module and some other odds and ends. I didn’t even think to checkout in the exhaust.

I am interested in the results of that test. Not that I’m in a rush to put a pipe on my bike. The Akra exhaust has me interested the most. That price tag though…

I did order the Anchor Tape starter and kill switch kit. Not a fan of the stock setup. Also plan to remove the map switch.

I’m ready to see the PC pipe on the bike for the 250 and 450, love the clean look of the Akro and I had the first two 450s in the states at my shop for the photoshoot last July and I ended up vapor blasting the header and mid pipe on both of them after the shoot since they were just going to be sitting for the rest of their lives and those turned out to look clean as well. I’ll try to find pictures of them after I did It and post on here

I’ve been keeping my eye out for the PC pipe. The test results from Keefer on the fmf seem to yield a little better results thank the Akro. But I don’t like the look of the fmf can. Looks to stick out more than the Stock/akro.

One thing that would give me pause about the FMF is how loud they typically are. I hade one of their mufflers on my YZ250F and even with the insert the bike was obnoxious. Same for my KX450.

Hello all. Just purchased a leftover 24 tf250 for my son. Only about an hour on it so far but he loves it.

Ive read in this post that a 22 ktm rear wheel will work on these. Is that a 22 ktm 250F rear, and prior that 22 years?

Thanks!

Yes, 22 and earlier KTM wheels will work, BUT you need to buy wheel spacers from Enduro Engineering (RMATV carries them).  They sell a kit with front and back wheel spacers that allow the pre-22 KTM wheels to properly fit the Triumph.

Just saw that Acerbis now has a plastic skid plate for the bike on their website. Really hoping for aftermarket plastics in various colors too. I’m still kind of on the fence about the black front end.

I genuinely really like the aesthetics of my bike minus the white front number plate. It actually really bothers me still at this point everytime I look at my bike😂

I think it’s the two tone that bugs me. If it were all black or all white I would probably not care.

Same here, I've gotten used to it but would love for cycra to do a stadium plate for it.

I got mine from AXP Racing. It's solid but it collects mud like crazy.

The number plate doesn't bother me too much cuz I got the graphic to be mostly black

I'm currently struggling to find a spark arrestor to go trail riding once I get my bike back from the shop..again.

What happened to it now?
