As others have said, total greedy money grab by MX Sports. When you hear the actual cost of the ranch, there’s no way it’s sustainable at those prices. The luster is gone, with SMX Next, combines, even Canadian Nationals proving a more valuable experience for the next generation of pros. It’ll die off like the Golden State Series back in the day. I wouldn’t pay a dollar to these greedy bastards, and I’m probably not alone in those sentiments.

It’s well beyond the point of a business making money, which I’ve got zero issues with. It’s straight greed. People aren't going to like this, but there's zero effort being done to grow the fan base and race attendance... effort is, however, being put into getting more money out of the core fans. "Juice the faithful" is the business model now. It is what it is, but that's definitely what it is.
