Vital Crashing Chrome

Every few times I come to Vital tonight chrome crashes. It does not do it on any other sites just here. Anyone else getting this?

I run chrome and it's been acting up since yesterday evening. I can go upstairs to the desk top where it's internet explorer and all is fine.

What's funny is that it only acts up on non moto. You can click on moto all day and there are no problems.

Sweet I'm not the only one. The Forum page crashes my chrome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Chrome hangs when scrolling and a video is embedded...if the mouse goes over the video "box," the browser hangs, so I have to mouse along the side, around any video, to keep it from doing that

and it only does it here

I have the problem with Firefox. It started yesterday and it only happens on the forum index and it only does it when I scroll down the page.

When I go to that page Firefox jumps to over 1GB of RAM usage and the system starts swapping.

Ill fwd this to Aaron. I think he also uses chrome.

Have you guys seen much double posting the last day or so? a couple days ago it was REAL bad, i sent him a msg about it, then it seemed to have stopped doing it (or i just havent noticed it as bad)

I never have a problem with it on Safari... I guess that's because Apple is so superior to those other browsers....

I too was crashing with Chrome. Came up with a solution. It takes practice because you have to be fast. Open the forum page and scroll down as fast as possible until you get the Non Moto to open, then save the page as a bookmark. It will then open as a page. Took me a while.

It's been crashing my iPhone as well, but I think it's related to that survey popup. My iPad and Phone get bombarded by the survey popup multiple times per visit.

I use Chrome at work and it crashes half the time on the forum main page...actually every time. I get this aw snap message. I click refresh and it usually loads and can go on.

Actually, I noticed that on videos also and even on other sites with all my browsers. Your scrolling just fine then the mouse cursor is over the video and no more scrolly. I have to move the cursor outside the video to keep scrolling. It happens to me on other sites quite often also.

I like Chrome but it definitely has a little work to do or websites need to get compliant. I can't use chrome with pogo games and logmein is slowww on chrome. Always been big firefox user but I really have gotten to like the interface on chrome and extensions.

VMX crashes chrome for me on the main forum page when I scroll down to get to non-moto. I can barely get non-moto to peek through, but any further and crash.

If I open the forum page and go straight to Non-Moto there is no problem. If I'm in moto and go to Forum Main it locks up as soon as my curser crosses Non-moto. I use Chrome.

Remember this is beta software so it WILL have some bugs but I have been using it since before the 4.0. series and have little trouble. Hope it is a permanent solution for you.

This problem was been resolved. It was being caused by a specific user's avatar (animated GIF) that was incompatible with Chrome on Windows.
