I'm glad Blair decided it was time to speak out. Going against a Big corporation is tough, but thing will never change if not challenged. There is so much about this sport that is mind boggling to me, riders having to pay an entry to race, riders at every race getting taken out by tough blocks or other dangerous conditions, privateers not being able to sell merchandise. So many other things that need fixing.

if you think it's crazy for riders to pay to enter a race look up how much an F1 license costs.

I don’t know, man. I watched the video. If a portion of this is true, it’s terrible. However, I do think that DB poured on the emotion a bit heavy, and it almost seemed fake to me. But, if I got done wrong like this, I guess I would try to gain every advantage possible. What if DB is actually a pain in the ass to work with(not saying that he is). I would hate for everyone to crucify one of the greats for nothing. This just sucks all the way around. Would love to hear a statement from Ricky. Fire away.

All I really gotta say is RC just stumbles and stammers often enough for me to recognize it before it even happens. Hes not good at this. Its not year 1 or year 2 of him being in the booth. Last weekend I think he was going then just went into silence without finishing. Like huh? Ive watched randoms cast tournaments on youtube with more grace. 

Hes bad, hes the GOAT of MX, but awful at casting.

Blair is an emotional guy.  I don't think he was hamming it up for the camera.  I think he was genuinely upset about how things went and about having to throw people under the bus.  It is peoples lives after all, but from his side it looks like he got screwed, but also that the execs running the show don't want the Play by Play guy to be too good(smart) cause it makes Ricky look bad.

Basically RC and Leigh are the two NBC wants in the booth for the foreseeable future. DB was stepping on RC toes in the minds of the big wigs at NBC and RC and it wasn’t going over well. Leigh/NBC also bitched out Daniel bc he said he likes Todd Harris as announcer. And then it this weekend the asked Daniel to come on. He thought it was going to be bench racing with friends of his but they basically said “Fuck you, you’re not an announcer- at least not for nbc. Were giving you this time to promote your new brand” and Daniel said no I’m not doing that I just won’t come on to make it easy. Now I say something about two sides of the story and while I completely agree. There is a lot of evidence thru the words of his peers and former colleagues that hinted at the fact he was done dirty by NBC.

Daniel has talked to me about all this but didn’t want any of it ran in public form. When a friend says “I have something to tell you but you can’t repeat it”, you’re kinda stuck. Unless you’re just a shitty fucking friend.

It’s Daniel’s to unearth, he has a platform and he’s told his side. Beauty of the forum, anything worth talking about ends up here, even if I’m stuck at bike tests all day.

One thing for sure, DB burnt down the house, there’s no going back now. If you thought RC was a jerk before, he’s never letting this go.

Pulp will dance around it. I've yet to have heard a single mainstream moto outlet straight up say that RC sucks as a commentator.  All of them are on their knees throat goating the GOAT. 

He had many knocks to the head during his career, he might be suffering from CTE.

RC’s best bet is to turn this into a he said she said story. It sounds like DB has some receipts though 😂. 

How much you wanna bet he denies the phone calls. I doubt DB could prove that.

The fact is Ricky C, you were a great racer, much better than DB. But as much as you were better than him on a bike, multiply that by 10 to work out how much better he is than you on the broadcast. I won’t be paying to watch the races for as long as you’re involved. 💩

This is bad, fellas. To smooth this over, RC will need to use a very pragmatic approach.

Time to get on NBC/Peacock.

Oh man, I'm a huge DB fan and would choose him over everyone in the booth aside from Weege.  I also grew up watching him race with him in Nor Cal and Central Cal.  While this may feel good in the moment and he definitely has the hard core fans on his side, I can't help but think this revenge video was a mistake and he is going to regret it.  

Haha calling in one thin skinned man to help save another.

Supercross live just posted an update on Jordon Smith about an hour ago and it’s still just comments of DB 😂😂. 

I really hope karma does its job here with Dick Carmichael and Dillhole Diffey. I’m usually not the guy that calls for another man to lose his livelihood but to run someone off thier dream, you deserve everything you get.

Not sure how much worse it could get. Not being openly slanderous or defamation. He is pretty much done TV side. Door was closed before but now it seems like its welded shut after this. 

We can get rid of RC and Leigh if we make enough noise. 

I never really saw the hate for Leigh as I didn't think he did a terrible job at broadcasting. He seemed to have some knowledge of supercross (and racing in general). RC on the other hand, I just saw him as trying to stay relevant in the industry after his failed NASCAR career so he put his name on everything that he could and got onto the broadcast (which I'm sure that Monster has something to do with this). But let's be real here, RC is a terrible broadcaster and has no business doing it.  Not only that, but the Arlington video of Blair's breakdown was extremely uncalled for and should have gotten RC fired.  After Daniel's video, I definitely view both RC and Leigh differently and they both can go fuck themselves. Both of them are clearly insecure and have extremely fragile egos.  Personally, I think RC should get canned and have Weege and Daniel on the broadcast full time.  Have James on every now and then.  Leigh can go back to IMSA and other bullshit the NBC has.
