Over the weekend I learned what I already kind of knew, but was cemented even further this weekend, is that side by sides have ruined what Ocotillo Wells used to be. They are the worst thing to happen to the off road community and riding areas that have ever happened. For multiple reasons. Fuck those things 😖

Everything from full on, double black diamond rock crawling, back down to easy trails, and moto singletrack.

SXS's have all but destroyed the moderate trails that 4x4's, daily driver's, and the moto guys use.

Everything is deeply rutted, where there used to be, fun multiple lines.

And they poach, and ruin the moto only singletrack.

Old school ATV's were cool.

Then came the sport quads to begin the destruction.

Now those damn things have come along and ruined and entire OHV area.

Fuck…. Fuck….. Fuck those goddamn things, and the assholes that buy them. (Not all, but most) They’re the boogie boards of the desert, they’re like locusts, ohv area locusts that show up by the thousands and destroy everything in their wake. Trails that used to be fun flowing hard pack are now chopped up whooped out stutter bump sandy silty rutted out un fun nightmares. And that’s without getting into the guys doing donuts up wind of your camp, flying around blind corners, running into and killing several motorcyclist every season. They’re just not good, nothing about them is good for these off-road areas. They are amazing little vehicles.,I’ll give them that. There’s just too fucking many of them, and too many owners are newbie goobers with no idea about off-road etiquette.

I learned yesterday afternoon that if i dont close my gate properly, my cows will push it open and venture on to my back patio and help themselves to any foilage they want... and yelling at them thru my security cameras is completely useless !

Hahaha, I let my bulls in my yard to clean it up. Until one started sharpening his horns on the corner of the garage. They did trim the trees up high!

Ooh …. I’m not sure how well I’d be able to deal with that. I deal with association board members once in awhile and they are the most aggravating individuals I’ve ever dealt with. Good luck

I knew what I was getting into when I bought into an HOA neighborhood. I just didn't expect there would be CC&Rs attached to my backyard, too. I'm just going to grin, bear it, and pretend it doesn't bother me.

A couple years ago, I had a SXS come around the corner while I was on my bike. I had my son with me so, I held up one finger. 1- rider behind me. He held a thumb up. Cool.
No, the asshole blew around the next corner almost taking my son out. Most don’t even know basic hand signals.

I learned I’m still not cleared for my next surgery due to a lingering blood clot from the last surgery.  Been off the bike since May and trying to find a silver lining in getting harder.  But I was just referred to a new vascular specialist so 🤞🏻.

And their dorsal fins flop over in captivity. That video put a hurting on Sea World.  No more Shamu shows, just some Orcas swimming around in circles in a little tank.

It was a 2-month ordeal and I'm not very happy about the mix up!

Imagine the other guy who thought he was all good! Now he just found out that he’s had cancer for way longer than expected.

I had one of these lodge so deep in my pinky knuckle on my throttle hand that I never got it out. It just dissolved I guess. It kinda hurt and there was a knot there for a long time. Its from a Russian Olive tree.
