In his french podcast DV12 misrespect Anstie, saying the westcost guy would have made circle around him and east guys are not at a high level.
Yesterday prove him so wrong, all the west topguy were embarassing except Deegan.
But anstie show a full package : great start, huge skill in big jump, blazing speed in whoops and no mistake in the trickiest track of the season.
SO yesterday he would have won the general.
The good news is, we get to find out in two weeks in Indy.
Yep - Indy,Philly & SLC.
I agree with DV; Julian and Haiden are faster.
Yep, and Davies.
It’s still racing and with a start and a little luck, Max could very well beat them. But I’m betting on one of those 3 to win the shootouts.

These shootouts will be fun. There's a lot of points to be gained.
I think Kitchen or Deegan take the first one. East is MUCH deeper but in terms of the top 1-2 guys they're probably similar. We'll see.
Max is too fucking old to be in the 250 class. He's old enough to be Cole Davies' father (a young father but still...).
I feel the East is faster but can’t wait to watch the shoot outs, should be some good racing. Would be great if one was a triple crown race
Davies is the best 250 rider (countrywide) this year, in terms of technique and control, and has the biggest upside. He's unbelievable. Go check the video of his fastest qualifying lap in Arlington. Most of the riders will never ride like that, ever... No one on the East rides like that...
Haiden is the best 250 guy when he's is the zone like SMX or Dallas. Not many 250 guys can be 8th and 12th on the first lap of a shortened Triple Crown moto and win. He did that twice saturday. No one on the East can do that...
Beaumer is supposedly hurt (shoulder) and rode injured in Arlington but has shown he's close or at Davies & Haiden's level on a good day
I've never disrespected Anstie and actually praised him after Detroit. He crapped the bed after the restart though.
Saying I'm wrong isn't factual. Saying you don't agree with what I'm saying is more factual. But I really think the teenagers on the West are better than the Vets on the East and will have better careers when it's all set and done. Only Kitchen, if he figures it out is at this level in SX.
Pretty much how I see it, the West is stronger, there is probably no one on the East that will become an elite rider in 450s
Davis and Deegan on the other hand absolutely, Beaumer maybe.
I have not much interest in the East because of this.
A young father, 14 years 😂😂
You guys and DV have a magic glass ball that the rest of us don't know about? Asking for a friend.
Three East West rounds....so let's see who is better.
Anstie is smart and his average over three East West will probably top Deegan.
Juju is hurt so we can give him a mulligan.
Cole will develop into a champion but it aint happening this year...
Anstie is a vet and is smart and he will get it done this year but then never again.
Deegan and Cole have bright futures Deegan has tenacity and bull dog grit and Cole is like Jett, superbly precise and will go on to win more 450 Championships than Deegan. We all see it.
DV has made it CLEARLY OBVIOUS that he understands speed and technique at a level that most of us never will.
Also, he understands it as someone that’s DONE IT and on someone that’s TAUGHT IT…and has been a winner in both rolls.
So, this leads me to tell the OP the following…
1. Don’t post drunk.
2. Don’t post about things you clearly don’t understand.
I’m jus’ sayin’…
I just read that Julian dislocated his shoulder in practice at Arlington
I agree with OP. Juju is still inconsistent and looked lost out there this weekend. Even Haiden is one bad start from losing to Max.
Juju wasn’t lost…. He was nursing a dislocated shoulder. If it’s healed, he’s right there battling for TQ’s and race wins.
Levi on a 450 is beautiful. He will do very well once he gets on one in the pros. Maybe not championship caliber but I think race winner.
Sorry Juju, that was my fault. I picked you up in PulpMXFantasy hours before your injury.
Seriously though, I hope he doesn't suffer the same shoulder fate as AC. I get it, AC grew too fast, but he wasn't the first to battle dislocations throughout his career.
Pit Row
The point still stands, Anstie has been a Pro longer than Davies has even been riding dirt bikes and he's still just trying to barely win races in a Regional class.
Meanwhile, Yamaha has dumped millions into a bunch of Amateurs only to give them no real shot at a Pro ride so they can employ Vet riders like Anstie and Mosiman on the hope they can finally win a Regional title after more than a decade of trying.
But you can't hate on Antsie or Mosiman, or even Yamaha for that matter, for working within the rules to try to win, earn a living, etc.
The issue you should have is with the AMA and the rules they created for the 250 SX series.
Personally as long as it is within the rules bravo for everyone involved.
And oh yeah, I agree 1000% with DV's take on Davies. That kid has "it" by the looks of it.
So if someone offered you a better job with higher pay, less risk, shorter hours, and you take it because it helps you provide for your family in the best way, we should hate on you and not on the company that hired you? Huh?
Make your minds, is the 250 a feeder class, or a professional class?
Just because they're working within the rules doesn't mean you can't point out to them that it must be degrading hanging out in the 250 class while living in a retirement village. I bet, in private Grandpa Max, Old J Hampshire and the rest feel a bit embarrassed.
There needs to be a firm age out limit.
I'm pretty sure Max Anstie's son is closer in age to Cole Davies than he is. Will Max and the rest of the sandbagging geriatrics finally move up when they start racing their own kids? And in Sandbag Hampshire's case, his own grandkids?
Apparently you don't know that they changed the rules for pointing out to keep riders from using "injuries" to keep from pointing out...now it's simple...win the championship you have one year to defend then move up....no more pointing out of the class
I doubt they have any embarrasment from cashing a check each month that would be double what they would make on a 450 lower tier team....Take Max for example when he was on the HEP team....pretty sure he's making way more money on the 250 now then he was then on the 450....
