How anyone like him can rise to any kind of political power, shows just how fucked up oir system is.

I went completely apolitical years ago (you all should try it, it's refreshing), but my curiosity is killing me. What did he do?

The mid terms will be a bloodbath for Republicans if all this keeps up. Can u imagine if Russia is in Kyiv by then and Trump is fully responsible for it. Inflation still high, tariff war under way. But atleast he cut aid to poor people . I guess.

I'd bet that in 4 years, MAGAVitards are doing no better than they are now , maybe worse, and Trump and Musk will have doubled their net worth. I put a note in my calendar to come back here with an "I told you so".

If cleaning up the waste, fraud, thievery, corruption and downright treasonous behavior that the entrenched bureaucracy has created over the last 50-70 years (I could argue that it’s longer but just say 50-70 for now) was easy and the sentiment to do it had been there, somebody else would have already done it.  Clinton and Obama both flapped their lips about it but didn’t do a damn thing about it.  We the people have known for YEARS that we were being screwed over / taken advantage of or whatever you want to call it but nobody that could (elected officials) EVER did anything, mostly because, with the exception of JFK. they were part of the corrupt system.  An outsider / disrupter (Trump) comes along and offers to clean the mess up and the system goes after him with both barrels and why not, he’s going after their gravy train.  Is he perfect?  Heck no, no one is, but at this moment in time, he’s the one who raised his hand and said “I’ll do it.”  Enough of we the people said “okay, you’re our guy, git’r done” to give him a mandate to do it.  It won’t be easy.  It won’t be clean and sanitary.  He can’t always be “nice” and angelic when dealing with this level of corruption.  It won’t go as fast as some would like to see.   And finally, some people are going to get their feelys all butthurt.  This is a war folks.  The ones in power with the vested interest in keeping the status quo going aren’t going to just roll over and give up.  It will probably get worse before it gets better.  Personally, what I’ve seen over the last month gives me a fair amount of hope that eventually things will be better and that my six grandkids have a shot at a better future than the way things were trending over the last couple of years.  At least with the war on our food supply being halted, I can see that at some point, when enough new laying hens are old enough to produce, I can see where the price of eggs WILL FALL to a more reasonable price (supply goes up enough to meet demand, for the economically challenged among you).

For all the haters, if you have a better plan, may I suggest you file for office and jump in the next election and we’ll listen to your plan and see if it garners enough support to let you have a swing at it.  If you live in another country and just want to throw stones at the US, then fix your own damn country so you can show us “how it’s done” and then we can talk.

Peace

Gotta love all of the ones posting here, who don't find themselves on the winning side of things.

The 505 kid being one of many.

It fucking kills them that we're sitting here throwing the administration's accomplishments in their faces.

And entertaining as hell watching them reply with the same ol' lame ass replies.

They can't help themselves.

What's the biggest accomplishment so far? Serious question.

I am like everyone here in that I'd love to eradicate government waste. That said, gutting things is obviously not the way to go about it.  Not sure how some you consider it an accomplishment to just throw people out the door from the FAA, those that are responsible for stockpiling weapons (to keep us safe), national park employees, programs that feed kids who need it.  Getting rid of waste and keeping those who are valuable takes strategy and this administration has no strategy in regard to us (us being we the people). Before anyone whines about me whining, I don't benefit from any of these fuckin programs that I think are stupid to get rid of, I'm just able to look outside my specific situation.

Those examples of the agencies whose employees are getting pink slipped.  All those agencies are still operating just fine.  Seems you don't remember Biden going on a government job creation jamboree in his last year in office, just so people such as you can say, "look, Trump is firing all these people for no reason".  When the fact is they were hired for no reason.

Poor kids.

They have no team.

No viable alternative.

No ideas.

No vision.

Nothing but standing around being anti everything.

Look around, at all levels, that's all they're doing.

Crying, flailing, throwing around the worn out catch phrases, and parroting what other flailers are coming up with every day or so.

And none of it's sticking

And that's the best part, they're just spinning their wheels, going nowhere.

I appreciate you answering, most others won't comment other than talk about all the winning in their head.  Who told you these agencies are all operating just fine though, Elon Musk?

I volunteer to help families financially…either to improve their financial situation, with skills training, improving employment, starting a business, budgeting, education etc., or to improve their financial situation by re-structuring/eliminating debt etc. (Again, I don't do this for a living, I'm not a financial advisor or anything,  I just do it on a volunteer basis) . By far the most difficult cases are the families who spend waaaaay more than they make….changing their lifestyle is incredibly difficult…going without things that they are used to and enjoy is painful…but it’s necessary for financial health.

That is the situation our government is in….there are so many things this country spends money on (sometimes those are even good things) that we just can’t afford…the “lifestyle change” to get healthy financially will be painful (incredibly painful for some)..,but it’s absolutely necessary…failure to do so will result in eventual Bankruptcy…and the pain of THAT will make any pain we are experiencing right now feel like a walk in the park!

What DOGE is doing is absolutely necessary…I applaud it…and will result in the long term health of our economy and country.

I can’t understand why anyone can’t see that, and is opposed to it?

Tell me why you think they're not...  Maybe while you are pondering that, explain to us what the reason for Biden job creation spree was just before he left office.

With your history here 505, you're not worth my time.

Why bother trying to converse with someone of your ilk ??

There's no point.

You're functioning in a losing ideology.

I'll let everyone else ridicule you, and your username.

You're beneath me.

The problem is, you don't realize you're the problem.  Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them the enemy.

Be better Joey or get the fuck off that high horse that you ain't qualified to ride.

Downvote away if like Joe Joe you gobble up Trumps cum at every turn.

This is one of the lamest memes I've seen LOL.   You expect Ukraine to hold meaningful elections while they are getting bombed by Russia?  Seriously?   YOU don't think Putin would have a field day with all of that LOL? Or maybe you think they'd have a ceasefire to allow the Ukrainians to vote safely.  LOL.    Think about it, use your brain a little.

As for Trump the dictator.... remember the last election he lost (wasn't even close), he put up one helluva fight and didn't want to give up his power.... The only president I ever remember doing that.  And now him and his boy Musk are owners of the social media platforms you all use, and Musk is making a big to do about an AI app he's releasing.  Musk also wants to use X as a payment platform.  They want to own the media you consume, this is what dictators do isn't?     It's right out of the playbook, please use your brain.

I know 876 reasons why you are wrong. Smile

Odd...I clearly remember Trump peacefully leaving the white house on Jan 20th, 2021...even left Biden a note wishing him well.  So it's odd you'd say he "put up one helluva fight and didn't want to give up his power"?  If that's what you consider "one helluva fight"...then you and I have a different definition.

What happens between the November election and the January inauguration is when election results should be challenged...every American should want every election to be honest and accurate...Remember the fight Gore put up back in 2000...or 2004...I can't remember which...when he didn't want to concede the election to Bush?, I find nothing wrong with him doing that, I'm glad he did, I respect his right to do that...but on Jan 20th, they'd better accept the results and leave the white house and/or concede the election...which is exactly what Trump did.

All this "Trump is a dictator" garbage is sour grapes, nonsensical fear mongering, and grasping at straws...he won by a mile...the majority of Americans put him BACK (after already experiencing a Trump presidency) in the white house to do exactly what he's doing...and he'll leave the white house peacefully on Jan 20th 2029 (JUST LIKE HE DID THE LAST TIME).

And I would expect Ukraine to hold an election while at war...that's what free countries do.  America held a presidential election in 1944...If their president uses this war as an excuse to stay in power he ought to be removed from power BY HIS OWN PEOPLE (if they value their freedom) immediately.
