The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator Lee Zeldin said Wednesday that his team has located $20 billion in tax dollars that the Biden administration purposely wasted.
The EPA is a crooked organization.
Seems to be a lot of those.
It costs a lot of money to save democracy!
I hope they eviscerate CARB.

For those who don't bother to click the link, here is a summary of the article-
"The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator Lee Zeldin said Wednesday that his team has located $20 billion in tax dollars that the Biden administration purposely wasted.
"An extremely disturbing video circulated two months ago, featuring a Biden EPA political appointee talking about how they were ‘tossing gold bars off the Titanic,’ rushing to get billions of your tax dollars out the door before Inauguration Day," Zeldin said in a video posted to X, citing another video from December. "The ‘gold bars’ were tax dollars and ‘tossing them off the Titanic’ meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting it."
Zeldin said the EPA has plans to recover the "gold bars" that were found "parked at an outside financial institution," which he does not mention by name.
He said that "this scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history, and it was purposefully designed to obligate all the money in a rush job with reduced oversight" before Inauguration Day."
No surprise we are $36 trillion in debt. Government (both D and R) is broken. It is all about the money, not the people of the USA.
A group getting getting a $50,000,000 grant from the EPA, has a motto of, climate justice runs through a free palestine ???
WTF ???
Zeldin canceled it.
$160,000,000 to a canadian vehicle co for electric school buses.
biden flat out gave them ALL of the money.
Now they've declared bankruptcy.
Care to guess how many buses we received before they did so ??
And…again…look at what the Establishment and their loyal idiots are saying about efforts to STOP SPENDING MONEY ON STUPID SHIT…
"The days of irresponsibly shoveling boatloads of cash to far-left activist groups in the name of environmental justice and climate equity are over," Zeldin said. "The American public deserves a more transparent and accountable government than what transpired these past four years"
I just opened this thread, and at a the same time, Zeldin came on the Carl Higbee show on Newsmax talking about this.
It's nuts how much corruption he has found.
Yep. Pretty incredible
Heads should roll!
Every tax paying American should be totally on board with any administration finally pulling the curtain back on how the government spends OUR money.
Obama talked about it but did not follow through.
Ya'll can hate on Trump and Elon all you want but it's your emotions over riding logic.
This is a brave battle Trump decided to take on and career suicide for any other regular politician.
not at all related but the Amazon warehouse just down the road from me is in the process of installing what looks like 1000+ electric car chargers in their massive parking lot. one charger per parking spot... this building has been built, finished, and 100% unoccupied for at least 4-5 years.
Not to worry....
We the "batteries" will make more money for government to waste.... Sleep, dream, good citizen.
How far down the rabbit hole will this go before people start mysteriously disappearing/dying.
So you are against states rights?
The problem with presenting CARB as a states rights issue is that a lot of CARB mandates became de facto national mandates.
CARB could've been something great, but the execution has been so poor and illogical in some of its focus.
No but carb has been off the fucking chain for a long time. They have helped destroy the trucking industry. Been a diesel tech for 19 years and the shit they come up with gets dumber and less reliable every year.
Spent far too much of my life in CARB share holders meetings.
It seems air pollution control is secondary to increasing funding to expand the department. Regulations are like a gold star. The more new regulation's the more funding they get.
That is their prime objective.
Pit Row
Bezos doesn't pay Amazon workers enough to afford a car, who are the car parks for?
You just summed up the Government in general, they only need to justify their job by creating more rules and regulations.
How much those rules and regulations cost- no concern.
They don't have to function like a business, and create more income than expenses in order to stay alive as a business, and keep their job.
They just have to keep creating more reasons for them to have a job.
DOGE is creating so much "outrage" just for this reason. Yes it will hurt the people (and businesses) making a living from the Government lobbyist game, but for fucks sake we are $36 TRILLION in debt.
Someone has to be the adult in the room, and say we are done putting our future on a credit card that we cannot afford to pay back.
If the USA was a business (without the ability to print money), we would be BK.
Isn’t that how America works? Seems to be the same way left and right wing politicians gain majority control of the House and Senate. Which in turn means their ideology/laws becomes de facto for the country too. For example, the senate is 53/47 republican but the 53 republicans represent about 24 million less Americans than the 47 democrats. Ultimately, the side with less population controls the country’s direction.
CARB states represent ~40% of the US auto market from the last data I saw. The interesting thing I all this is, Chinese and European emissions are more strict than CARB and will/already dictate global direction for vehicles and energy way more than CARB or even the US as a whole ever will.
Amazon has been changing out their delivery vehicle fleet to electric. They are buying the vehicles from Rivian and every new warehouse that does deliveries has the same parking lot full of ev chargers. They are also adding them to legacy delivery warehouses.
my next door neighbor worked for him directly for about 1.5 years... she did REALLY well. she just got laid off a couple weeks ago and said she's going to travel for a couple years before she decides what she wants to do. she was on one of his other projects not Amazon.
