The war started with a march on Kyiv, be serious.
Kongols may need to sit down…
And here’s why…
Because, I think he’s right.
We need to tell Russia that Ukraine is keeping all territories that it’s taken…& that’s just for getting started. The Donbas needs to be “occupied” by Neutral Forces/U.N. …whatever….until this is all sorted. Russia needs to be financially penalized for losses to Ukraine, Europe…etc. Russian war allies…China, Iran, North Korea…etc. need to be penalized…etc., etc., etc.
I remember well over 10 years ago Putins black-ops in Crimea. I always thought that was the start of it all.
And the western world just let it happen…

Boy if only Biden had a chance to end that war. Sarcasm alert
There is a name for that fiasco. Angela Merkel.
It isn't fair and it isn't right, but Ukraine should be prepared to give up its lost territory in exchange for peace concessions. Since we know Russia will not abide by any truce or treaty they sign, however, there needs to be some kind of security agreement in place. NATO membership would be ideal, but failing that, even an individual security partnership between Ukraine and some or all NATO nations individually would be beneficial.
Russia needs to know that it cannot just take what it wants, when it wants with impunity.
2013 when Yanukovych rejected the European Union-Ukraine Association Agreement and the people of Ukraine rejecting a government of Russian stooges.
But, more directly they tried to march on the capital in the spring of 2022 and failed.
And many others…even our leaders were culpable. Where was NATO then? It’s mind boggling.
Yep - under Obama.
If I remember he sent in Contractors & his Tier 1 units all blacked out. .Russia claimed they weren't Russians to the media at first.
I see what you are talking about. I remember back in 2014 when the Ukraine emptied all of it prisons and a bunch of groups sprung up trying to fight for power as Putin invaded. Our CIA Special activities division was involved in that too along with a lot of US contractors. I always believed that was when the Russian organized crime culprits gained the most power in the Ukraine with support from a lot of released prisoners.
This little video/podcast/interview is interesting of a few guys that went over after 2014 to fight. https://sofrep.com/videos/episode-5-volunteering-to-fight-in-ukraine/
Yup
We acted like we didn’t know what was going on. That’s what makes the commentary about Trump being a Russian stooge so funny: he’s had to go in and cleanup after they make their messes. From Syria to Ukraine. From Iran to Yemen. Thru out the open seas…from the straights of Taiwan to The Red Sea…cleaning up “The Establishment’s Messes”.
Most of the population of the USA has been, is, and will continue to be shot in the back by the government of the USA too. I’m pretty ambivalent about the whole thing myself, but it should come as no surprise because we Americans made no promises. Our shit head government did. And we Americans are sick of our tax money funding shitheads like the Ukrainian government. So I can at least understand the rationale here. However I also do empathize with Eastern Europe’s situation.
If you want to blame something blame greed and the desire for power and natural resources. Blame the system we’ve created that allows and rewards this kind of behavior.
All this talk about power and other countries being scared of the USA and we have another spineless bastard yes-man
Just a cool $107 BILLION of my tax dollars sank, just so some anti-genius can get online and say "Its not enough". How about you put your money where your mouth is - and donate your time and hard earned paycheck to the cause. Not my fucking problem, and should have never been the burden on the American citizen that it already has been.
What does the USA owe Ukraine? Pretty sure my grandkids have put a few billion into it's defense.
Yeah - we have a lot invested over there already. Secret bases, air and missile strikes, spy networks ect...
This is a pretty good read that talks about recent CIA involvement in the past couple years over there.

You probably missed it, but he WAS actually doing something. At the beginning, he and others were delivering vehicles and stuff to Ukraine.
So yeah, he already put his money where his mouth is, and his ass on the line.
Pit Row
I, too, have to give Kongols mad respect and more hi 5s than I can count…
I completely understand Americans saying,”Fuck! How much is enough?!” …all the while…if the money spent had provided the top shelf weapons needed to kick Vlad’s KGB ass all the way back to Moscow…shit would be VERY different.
This is a complicated mess.
agreed, if Biden, and now Trump had untied Ukraine's hands and let them go after Putin, it would be a whole different negotiation
If what we are hearing comes to fruition is this a win for Trump? I dont see it that way. Revisit in 10 years and Russia hasn't invaded anyone else and are living peacefully with Ukraine then maybe its a win.
Agreed, the difference between his handling of Gaza and Ukraine is stark
The two confilicts are more linked than people realise. Iran was/is supplying drones and military equipment to the Russians to prop them up in Ukraine, which in-turn means they weren't as focussed on covering Hezbollah/Hamas as they may have been otherwise. In addition, the Israelis so thoroughly gutted leadership of both organisations that hezbollah's collapse left Syria exposed. The Russians couldn't prop it up because they're too busy pulling troops to fight in Ukraine, and so Iran has lost almost all of it's influence in the region and a nice buffer on it's border with Hezbollah propping up Assad.
Ukraine is far more complex an issue with a huge potential range of outcomes from a stronger NATO and better ties among members as well as additional help in the South China sea, right up to it's collapse and the entire world turning to China as a stable long-term partner while the US retreats back within your own borders. I don't think the latter of that is particularly lightly, but it's within the realms of possibility.
