I don't know if you were around several years back or so when I was unmasking a lot of trolls online. Some on here may remember. Finding out their true identities was quite comical and once they were outed they would always disappear. One was actually a pretty good actor that played in some decent movie roles. I even got a few that were using VPN's and TOR and they thought they were anon. lol

Dang, there’s a work around for VPNs? I’ve been reluctant to get one because I heard they slow things down. Thoughts?
They are a little slower. But will hide your identity to most common folks on the internet. But keep in mind to be totally anon it's difficult. Most folks will use the same device or computer to log into their legit accounts like facebook ect... All browsers leave certain type finger prints (not just image canvas prints). So even with a VPN some prints can still show. Places like facebook ect... all log and archive those prints. So that way when someone signs up with TOR or a VPN trying to hide their ip. FB can reference back to that print. It helps narrow down the investigation. For instance when someone uses tor and a vpn to lets say make threats on social media - it's one of the methods used so that they are found swiftly.

Yeah VPN's are great for changing your GEO location ,making it look like you are in a different part of the world ect..
Tor is slower than most VPN's but TOR (The Onion Router) is free. But for watching video I would recommend a VPN - typically they are a lot faster.
