When those changes were announced by Canada on the 17th, what was the motivation for them, as widely reported in the media, (threat of Tarrifs)…you’re dead wrong on this. Those changes announced on the 17th were because of the meeting with Trump at Mara Lago…where Trump told Canada there would be tarrifs if they didn’t beef up their border…they are securing their border, so tariffs postponed for 30 days…we will see where things stand at that point. But make no mistake, the threat of tariffs was the reason for the Dec 17th announcement.
