I can't tell what % of this post is intended sarcastically and if you're pro pelosi or pro rnc
He sounded like he was trying to convince himself that he hadn't done anything wrong and he was entitled to use the bank account any which way he wanted to, which obviously the Lawrence's think otherwise.
He at one point says it's a Wasserman funded account that he's liable for through balancing his P&L and then he says quietly at another point it wasn't a Wasserman account, but from what I could try and decipher from his ramblings was that his accounts had been frozen due to his divorce and without consulting any of the other people involved he's used this account as his own and his thought process was if I put it back before anyone notices then its all sweet.
The craziest part if true and who knows what is and isn't at this point was him trying to say he hasn't even been served with the legal papers yet
He’s obviously been doing this for years with his other clients and the Lawrence’s. Small bit here or there no one would notice. For one they TRUST the guy and two most people with that much money are to busy to go over every transaction. Myrtle just plane and simple got way to comfortable doing it and believed in his own head that what he was doing was normal behavior because no one ever caught him doing it. For example where I work we do service work (hvac) and there’s a guy that’s been there for 20 years. Our hours are 8-430 but he shows up at 9, takes a hour and a half lunch and leaves at 2 every day all because he thinks he’s entitled to. It started out 8:15 and 4:00 then it went to 8:30 and 3:30 then to 3:00 and so on to the point where if he works past 3 he puts in for overtime. This is the same theme Myrtle was fallowing. No one ever said anything so it must be alright. When in actuality it’s not. I think that’s why when he was on pulp he probably truly didn’t know what it was about because in his fucked up head he didn’t think what he was doing was wrong. Also going through the divorce probably accelerated his stealing a bit more.
I think the dumbest part has to be the astars bit. Did he really expect that not to get back to the Lawrence’s that they technically owed astars money? It’s common practice in business to not pay your bills, and even more common to not pay them on time, but when it’s one of probably the biggest sponsorship checks they get it is beyond dumb. I’m assuming he didn’t pay because then the account wouldn’t have had funds for his “babysitter” and legal fees. I’d say it is pretty likely he could have rode this out if it wasn’t for astars.

For him to pull $300k out of that account, it must have a bunch of money in it, coming many different depositors
Some of the best salesmen truly believe their own lies. This coming from first hand experience.
If y'all haven't seen the informant with Matt Damon you should. It's hilarious. About a guy that lies his way to the top of a corporation and damon convinces you that he believes every bit of it.
if this is your defence, your fucked,
So much of this smells like 💩 and everyone should 100% wait for this to play out before passing judgement. Once that happens, the floodgate can open.
How many of you know someone who got divorced for example and the wife or husband claims outlandish shit to make themselves look better. Could be the same deal here.....
theres a difference between outlandish claims and accusations that have been made public through a lawyer. They must be pretty confident
Idk what to think.
The lawsuit was filed 4 days ago, it can take a while to get the citation served. Particularly when the person knows they have been sued and are expecting a visit. Do you think he's going to open the front door when he looks on the Ring camera and sees a guy with a cigarette in his mouth and legal papers in his hand? lol
If he's working with a lawyer they can reach out at any time and agree to accept service on his behalf.
I think the Aplinestars $240k replica gear order he didn't pay back was the best "worst" one. That's got to be how they found out. Astars started sending smaller checks to the Lawrence Bros and they prob said..."wtf is this? Why is it so low now?" BUSTED!
So his accounts were frozen because of his divorce. But he didn’t steal from Lawrence’s he stole from Wassermans Account. Glad Mirtl could clarify that for us all. 😂
no matter how you spin this, it has been handled VERY strangely, especially in a situation involving a billion dollar company (Wasserman). I boil down his explanation via the cooksey video to: "Yeah, I slid cash from this account to my account. Yeah, THEORETICALLY that was not the best decision, but my history shows that I'm good for whatever money I "borrowed" so just chill out"..........and maybe that's the truth. Doesn't make it necessarily "right" but also doesn't deserve the scorched earth attack angle. My .02.

I thought that was the best one for sure. Just sounds stupid
Pit Row
Giving yourself a loan with someone else’s money without their consent is illegal. It’s called theft.
When I was in school I managed cashiers. Ever so often you’d get a cashier who’d skim a few bucks off their drawer and repay it on another shift. One time the drawer is short $50, then next week it’s over $50. That $50 wasn’t going to make or break the store and, after all, it was returned but you have to fire the cashier because they stole from the store and you can no longer trust them. It sucked and if they had come to me for a little bit of money to get by until pay day I would’ve lent them the money. But they chose the dishonest route and suffered the consequences. Similar deal with Mirtle from the sounds of it but on a much grander scale.
Mirtz thought he was family. Shitty way to treat family btw.
Man no coming back from this in the industry.
Bad decision making. Would you want him to represent you, or present clients and handle your partnerships ongoing?
And to get on PulpMx and plead such ignorance…thats abusing friendship he has with Steve M, and a dumb decision in its own right.
Last time i checked, stealing is stealing.
i don't disagree and am not defending him. sounds a bit like a "death by a thousand cuts" type situation. One instance of "loaning" yourself cash is one thing, the chronic nature of his behavior and the blatant dishonesty is hard to overlook and is another thing entirely.
Divorce lawyer, hands down. How much do you want to bet that he was going to pay alimony using the Lawrences' money?
