Finally sold my YZ250f in this market…low hour KTM350sxf is available a couple hours from me, looks in decent condition. 53 year old vet rider, a decent bike or should I look for a ‘23+ for the increased low end punch? What would be a fair price for one with under 20 hours? Not going to buy new as I’m a cheap bastard and want to retire at 55 so would have to wait for a newer one to show up on marketplace but I’m sure with spring they will start popping up.

I guess it depends on the price but for the right price I’d do it. Buying low hour bikes from older riders is usually a good combo.
2023+
I have a '22 Husky, same engine and honestly I run mine in the mellow map most of the time because I think the aggressive map is pretty barky and makes it easy to upset the bike coming out of corners (I mostly ride hardpack).
Based on everything I've read, I would want the '25 with the frame cutout if I was going newer.
Bike has been great, I just went through a bout of new-bike-itis when the '25s came out and but after I thought about it, there really wasn't anything I would try to improve other than the forks. You will miss your YZ forks- I just did a KYB fork internal conversion through Dialed Mfg.
22”s are great bikes, if you want more low end go to a 52 rear, like what 23-24 did….tons of parts availability… I think a little easier to find the sweet spot for handling on the 22 compared to the 23 & up. I have a 24 and its a great bike but I would not hesitate 1 minute to pick up a low hr 22….

I agree with Sandman. I’d go a 22 over a 23 or 24. Love mine. Get forks sorted and they are amazing.
Well I said yeah, 16.2 hours on it. He said he would give me a $100 back if I left him keep the front number plate as it was his first new bike he ever bought so I said no problem. $5300 with the $100 off, maybe could’ve got cheaper but figured not a terrible deal. Hope KTM doesn’t go out of business and stops providing parts, I might be in trouble 😂

I'm a happy 2022 owner with Ohlins suspensions... but the KYB YZF forks is way better.
I tried the 2023 SXF 350 and it's a no go for me (can't gel with the geometry). Pretty curious about a new try with 2025 version but I will jump over another year and put hours on my actual ride.
