To answer the OP question,  he may have made the finals with his 4-5 tricks, but that's it.  Didn't learn seat grabs till 2001.

Still I believe he could have won Cinq in 3rd place Screenshot 20250126 220338 Instagram

I could never get into FMX. Although the tricks/stunts they do is insane I struggle to really respect it because it was pioneered by the cowboys and failed racers. Apart from TP if you were crap at racing you went into FMX? Maybe I'm being pretentious but I always thought real guys race and real fans appreciate racing? I've grown up watching SX and MX. Back in the day friends who didn't ride would give me shit about motorbikes ie, they're so easy, all you do sit there and turn the throttle etc. I'm sure we've all heard it? Then all the sudden these same guys are moto fans because of FMX??

He would have been a freestyle super star at the county fair race intermission with those moves!

These days, maybe not even that 😂 but at that time, he really could’ve done well with those moves. FMX was still new and exciting, no one knew these modern moves could be done. Nowadays it’s both boring and too dangerous at the same time, even with the insane moves IMO

MC respected the heck out of those guys.... he'd ridden with Cinqmars a bunch (rip) and cinq would usually jump things first.

Random as heck thread, though.

Exactly.  I have to laugh at all the “core” guys on Vital that have never even hit a freestyle ramp telling everyone how lame it is.  Go ask any decent rider and they’ll have nothing but respect for the freestyle and freeride guys, because the can actually comprehend the level of skill and courage it takes to get to that level.

Respect to you my friend. Probably all those "core" vitards when they watch freestyle they are feeling poor beings but I don't mind with them I only laugh
