For all the talk about his mental toughness in the past, he seems a bit fragile of late, and feeling the pressure to back up the talk.

Looking back at Juju after putting him on the ground, and then almost throwing it away the heat a couple corners later.

Juju seems to be living rent free in his head right now, and now has to fabricate supposed disrespect.

JuJu most certainly having the red plate has a target on him.  I'm sure he's in Haiden's head to a certain degree - if not he should be. But I don't think Haiden was all that rattled come the main.  At one point I think he put a 5 second gap on JuJu and came across the checkered's  with over a 4 second lead.  Looking  forward to AZ next weekend. Should be interesting.

I guess he just proves you can be a winner and a ass hole. This shit may work for him in the 250 class but if he gets this shit with the big dogs in the 450 class he’s gonna get chewed up and spit out. At least is sx.

Imagine calling yourself "The Bull" a few seconds before the actual best supercross riders in the world take the track. I wish they interviewed Juju and he said "Someone should let Haiden know that he's in the 250 class."

This guy can't stand within 300 feet of a school and soon he won't be able to stand within 300 feet of Brian. Weird stalker vibes.

EDIT (picture added with number of times Hair Licker has mentioned Brian Deegan 10+ pages):
i realize you're mentally ill and im going to refrain from reading your posts from now on. I apologize for picking on you.

Deegan is more than likely an extremely sensitive, under socialized, and emotionally fragile little boy. He’s been coddled his entire life and was raised with the expectation to be the absolute best at what he does.

I don’t dislike him for the drama. I don’t dislike him because he’s good either. I dislike him because at the end of the day, he’s just a little prick about it.

Maybe that will go away as he gets older and has more exposure to the world. But he’ll never live in the real world, so who knows.

Haiden Deegan existing and being himself has zero impact on my life. And if anything, I enjoy his antics because it gives us something to talk about.

He’s still a little prick for the reasons I already stated.

Last night was an extension of who he’s been his entire life. He dominates the field, after objectively being not at his best for the first two weeks, and all he can conjure up is talking shit about someone. He barely manages to answer the question JT asked him, and even still, he doesn’t really answer it. His self centered and sensitive mind has conjured up stories about Beaumer, Kitchen and who knows else; and he’s using that to fuel his fragile little ego. And on live television, he can’t help but let it all out while sounding like a unsocialized kid. Which he is.

I personally dislike that. You may not.

"All he can conjure up is talking shit"

How old are you ? The above is not an answer to my question.

What specifically did Deegan say after the race that upsets you ? "Talking shit" is not a specific or legitimate answer.

He looked back because he thought juju was going under him, he even said it in an interview. Pretty sure we watched the same race and juju fell after contact was made, it didn’t appear to be an intentional takeout in my eyes but you won’t agree

My brother in Christ, the first thing out of his mouth to JT was him talking shit about being the bull, Juju “running his mouth”, how people can keep talking and how they’re all going to get the horns.

So your answer to the question,...What specifically did Deegan say to upset you ?

Your serious answer : "Talkin shit about being the bull, Juju running his mouth, how people can keep talking, they're going to get the horns" ??

That's absolutely incredible that THIS is what you are in a huff about. For your sake, I hope you are still in middle-school or at least high school. If so, you will be fine.

So you were highly offended by his podium antics? Especially the bull comment  and the running his mouth comment that it drove you to come here and write a paragraph about it. Got it.  I hope writing about it on here made you feel better.  Get well soon.

I can’t remember the last time…if ever…I’ve seen so many grown assed men & women get so damn upset and lose their shit over a “Teenager”…who…apparently…doesn’t behave in such a manor that allllllllll the perfect people, here in Vital, did when they were…

A TEENAGER.

But, I digress.

Haiden should do the sprinkler next time he wins and then give one word answers on the podium.  The haters would lose it.

Deegan should fist bump JT after one of the interviews, not sure how JT would react.  They have awkard podium interviews, Deegan will never look at him, always looking around.

If you can't see that he's an exceptional racer, you're an idiot.

If you can't recognize his disrespect, arrogance, and narcissism, you're also an idiot.

The so-called disrespect is shit talk for head games.  JLAW 338 was the King of it,especially when it came to Dungey.

In extreme sports psychology "Arrogance" is a key factor in athletic performance.  "Narcissism" is basically confident dominant orientation.

Wow, this turned into a hot mess.

Great point on the Michael Jordan comparison - making rivalries in his head to motivate him. I didn’t think of that. I just thought the interview just sounded so bizarre and left me scratching my head. It does stir the pot and get people talking. This thread is evident enough.

Just to be clear. Deegan is obviously a phenomenal rider and has a ton of grit. He does amazing things on a bike which reminds me of Stewart.

However, I don’t think focusing on his competition as much as he does is going to fair well once he moves up into the 450 class.

Both rode great last night. Deegan had to win imo to get some momentum. JuJu had to finish second if he wasn’t going to win.

Yes, and both can easily happen. The great riding and the verbal jousting.

With all respect to you, this stuff seems like that people's reaction to Deegan is far more immature than Deegan himself.

And he turned 19 years old, 3 weeks ago. He is a High School aged kid.

I would of been a junior in college if I went at 19. The only kids in high-school at 19 are ones that failed.

Jason won the championship the year he did all that. It worked.  He rattled Ryan pretty good that whole season. Even Ryan said so.

Had Jason not played those head games I think we would've seen a more focused Dungey and Jason would've been 2nd.

But is he actually "focusing" on his competition in the sense that you are implying ?

It would be reasonable to assume that a verbal joust here and there, that exists some where inside of 20 seconds worth of post-race speaking, would not even begin to approach what could be considered any real effort or some mental preoccupation.

Doesn't that sound like a reasonable conclusion ?

Depends on what state you go to school in. Some states don’t mandate you start KG until 6, so you could turn 19 in your Senior year.

That one year thing that you are referring to doesn't refute the reality of what I stated.

But your wrong anyway,..He turned 19 years old, 3 weeks ago. So now we are splitting hairs over 3 - 6 months.

You must be younger than he is.
