Why did Brad Lackey let Vromans have a 27 sec lead at Luxemburg (sp)? Agressiveness can be mental also.

You make your own luck in life. Of course, he's not into it anymore. He got his title and his money, and now his family. The only ones who will question his retirement are losers in life who have no idea what it's like to achieve anything.

Hell of a cast DV12. I'm impressed. I had no idea they had fishermen of your caliber from France.

I was thinking he would retire but after the last TWMX interview I just watched it sounded like he really wanted a contract for next year so I'm lost at this point. I will say this though. I for sure think this is the last time we'll see him outdoors. I think he's for sure over outdoors.

I agree with dv12 here - James wouldn't stay behind K-Dub for 17 minutes.

Nope, Bubba would panic at not being in the lead and try to pass instantly - no matter what. In the process he would probably take out 3 innocent bystanders and put himself out of yet another series Laughing

It got 5 minutes of my life, damn it.. Ultimately, he won. sooo the 17 minutes is irrelevant, especially when KW and RD knew the outcome before the gate dropped. Dumbest post on this site in a long time.....and speaking to the original topic. James would have dispatched him in 2 laps - tops. DV, Why don't you just say what you want to say?

When Pourcel goes into the 450 class(es) next year, he'll start winning immediately. Probably Canard too since he's moving up.

Add Villapoto into the mix and you're going to have a lot of 450 guys that are in the top 5 - 10 going backwards next year.

Isn't Antonio coming over next year? He'll win races.

No AC isn't coming over full time, maybe do a SX race and possibly a National before/after the GP, but with no expectations!

Haha, that's the damn truth.

And whoever the guy is who was talking about asterisks... c'mon dude, give us all a break. THere is no asterisk. And asterisk would be Langston's 125 outdoor title.

Applying your logic, EVERY champion would have an asterisk because there are contenders injured every year.

As they say..."that's why they run the race..."

I think I heard him or an credible industry person saying in an interview that it was a 1 year contract with an option for the 2nd year.

I think he knew he would retire at the end year from the very beginning (isn't his agreement to run the SuperX for 3 years and 2010 will be the 3rd time he will race them?) but he planned to go out holding the #1 plate, but when the title became an uphill battle, he realized he doesn't have the same drive to be as consistent as he has always been. I wish him to win one more moto or round of the Nationals before the end of the year.

From the videos on TWMX it seems he still has fun riding and the facts (qualifying of 2010 Daytona SX and the race of 2010 Vegas SX) show he has the speed, but what made him successful was his determination / resiliency to be in the title chase no matter what, and this year he seems not have it anymore. I wish him to win one more round before the end of the Nats.

This is probably a true statement. Stewart would put on a blaze of speed to try to pass Windham as quickly as possible. But what would happen next......

In the real world of actual racing, James Stewart is incapable of racing with out destroying himself physically approximately every other year. It is literally part of his racing style and is the reason he has only 1 AMA big bike outdoor title and 2 supercross titles in 6 years of racing.

There are varying opinions as to his speed when he manages to keep himself in competition, but the fact is, he only does that about 50% of the time. It demonstrates either a lack of tactical savy on his part or a rebellious streak that refuses to race "smarter." It's his choice either way.

He won the sec moto by 30+ sec. Hasnt been a guy waxing the field like that since um.... Bubba! Yes James is prob a step above Ryan who just happens to be 20years old, winning SX/MX in his first year, and one hell of a smart rider. When he is behind someone working for a pass does he really look like he's racing for that position like his life depended on it? Looks to be like he's being smart something James has never been called. Could he blow by Windam? Yup. Fun fact: When this seasons over Ryan will have 3 titles to Bubba's 5 and again he's only 20.
