Bench Racing | Anaheim 2 Supercross Night Show

I saw that, and wondered if it was OK by the AMA - the full wrap BB.

Here in OZ, they are banned in MX and SX ( and I think a few other events) . I think with the thought of arms being trapped in a prang .And, them being used as a 'weapon'.

Now I've run them for decades, in Enduro / my Bush use - but, remove them for my now Very infrequent club MX use. .  I've  had a squillion prangs, and the only time I ever got close to 'submerging' my arm down into the BBs was on a night ride, when the shadow from my lights had me misjudging a rock drop - instead of just a foot or so, it was around 5 feet - and I almost had my hand / arm trapped. I've been lucky, I guess. 

But, it's a Very valid concern.

I wonder if the powers that be told them to take it off, and only use a 'Flag Type' guard, or, if Honda just decided against it's use. I have to say, running just one guard - either type - I'd find really distracting..

Hope Jo does well, he's up against it.

I’m really impressed with how composer he looks for a 17 year old too. He didn’t lose his cool and risk too much going for the heat win.

Looks to be Deegans night. More speed than Beaumer and the pass wasn't dirty at all, he easily could have saved it. Now we see Deegan save what shoulda been a nasty crash so he's got luck & speed tonight.  This is when I realllllly wish Forkner or maybe McAdoo were on the same coast as him.

Not sure making an enemy of your fastest rival is a great idea halfway through a heat race but I called it 2 laps before it happened.

Man, I’ve thought the same thing for three years waiting for the big one from him but he’s really damn good at pulling out of bad moments.
