At least as far as racing goes, they have had quite the run the past year or so.
Says a lot to their ability to organize and manage a winning race program, these are all their factory race teams as well, not satellite efforts or whatever. Maybe lets put the race team managers in charge of the financials (lets not turn this into another financials thread we already have one).

Yeah man, the former executive team invested heavily in racing. That’s how they built the company up.
But now there is banks and investors involved, and they’re going to need to be convinced that racing at that capacity is necessary to help them recoup the money they used to bail them out of this mess.
I believe the racing budget is going to take a massive hair cut, and guys like Roger aren’t going to take a big salary cut and keep up their efforts. And if they’re not able to properly fund race team R&D, their race bike will suffer tremendously.
2026 could look very different for the group as far as racing goes.
Maybe they should have had financial experts manage the buisness instead of ex racers? 🤔

None of my riding friends, who buy a new bike or two every year, could name any pro racers name past Hannah or Pastrana. None of them give a shit.

No, just saying the win on Sunday sell on Monday thing isn't what it used to be. Many people with 10k - 15k to buy a new scooter realize pro riders demands on the scooter can be entirely different than their own needs. A lot of them have a lot of other things in their life to spend time on then the race results as well.
I tend believe those in a position to buy a new 12k bike a year prob aren’t as triggered by the power of promotion.
