Probably, with the 9 whoops rule and no dragonbacks GP riders are flocking here.

Deegan is scared.

No, he’s just ready to race. West coast is stacked with talent, as is East coast.

He looked like crap in Paris 2023. Even some French SX guys passed and beat him. Went on to finish 16th first round but came back to win the title.
I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be able to repeat. He had a strange outdoor season but he was GOOD in SX.

I'm cheering for RJ and Hymas.

Lots of “ifs”, but if RJ is healthy for all of the races, he’ll be tough.

I think Vialle could but it’ll be tough, Mcadoo was ahead of him last season before getting hurt and he should be east, there’s also Rj who will probably be good if he keeps it on two wheels, plus Anstie could be right up there now that he’s on a star bike, then you have guys like Hammaker, Thrasher, Brown, and Hymas who have shown speed but haven’t really battled for a championship, I think he will but it’ll be tough

It's a bummer RJ won't be able to run the #1 plate this year, but yeah agreed...he's got as much raw speed as anyone on a 250 most races.

Husky posted RJ & says eyes set on the first gate drop. Sounds like RJ is shooting for A1

Consistency is key, McAdoo seems to get banged up but be able to race thru the pain. Question is, how well can he manage the pain if he's in the points lead & injured? Just the trend he's show us the last few years... I'd love to be proven wrong, Cameron's worked hard to get where he's at, but stats don't lie and it's hard not to pay them much attention.

Pretty much the same story for RJ.

All of the stars have to align for any of these guys, who can limit the mistakes the most?

I'll say this, If Vialle has an outdoor season like he did in '24, he's not gonna repeat even with these guys having bad luck.

Once we know who is lining up it helps but from the notable guys going East (we think) we have Anstie, Pierce Brown, RJ, Vialle, Hymas, Masterpool, Hammaker, and McAdoo. I personally think it is anyone's series to take on the East, I would lean towards RJ if he can get healthy enough. I don't foresee Vialle going back to back.

Sorry, I can't see Anstie and Masterpool being at the pointy end often.

Nobody talks about Pierce Brown, but he looked great in the end last year and is also on Star now. I'm still rooting for Vialle, but Brown is my dark horse probably. I think we see a different Brown this year.

Anstie had the red plate last year on a small satellite team, but you don't think he can win on the best bike in the field?

Man, this is a field mostly made up of inconsistent guys.

Anstie - his results are all over the place.

Pierce Brown - has definitely under performed in SX and MX. Maybe if he starts upfront he can improve this.

RJ - has a title, but has always been prone to crashing.  I don't think this will ever change - the guy's in his mid-40s.

Vialle - actually consistent and could win some. Will rely on others with more speed being inconsistent.

Hymas - I reckon he could potentially win the title. Lots of speed, great riding style.

Masterpool - hasn't shown anything in SX thus far.

Hammaker - crasher

McAdoo - wild crasher

Yes, he can win.  But can he get rid of his variability? To get the title he'd need to win a few races and consistently get podiums. However, having said that, the majority of the other fast guys on this coast are also prone to inconsistency.
