Top 20 for sure. Yes Zeppelin covered some songs.  But Holy shit they put a spin on em and made em their own.

Sammy Hagar and The Circle (Jason Bonham as drummer) & Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening do that song right, too.

Check out Beth Hart's version of it.

Great tune but by far not their best....subjectively

I love me some Led Zep....I been trying to master Stairway to Heaven on guitar for years...sadly I don't have enough talent but I do have my own unique bastardized version hahaha.

Lately I have been getting into Billie Holiday....no idea why but I find her music peaceful and relaxing.

It's subjective like Vet57 says so there's no right or wrong answer.  That one is pretty far down the list for me .  Achilles Last Stand , Ten Years Gone , The Ocean are just a few that are up there in my opinion. Edit : just realized the OP is saying best song ever regardless of band ? That opens up all kinds of possibilities lol .

I lean towards Bring It On Home, The Rover and Dancing Days

Seeing as we are properly, in my opinion, throwing all our favorite or top Zep tunes out there…?

The Rain Song

Ten Years Gone

Living Loving Maid

I don’t understand the downvotes…I clearly understand how this can be someone’s “Best Ever”.

It is, both, that good…and…timeless.

A few year ago at my 1st Sammy-Circle concert…I was floored when they played it and the respect they showed for the original format was kinda damn nice. Even Michael Anthony on bass NAILED the John Paul Jones arrangement…it was really “perfect”.

Dazed and Confused and No Quarter from Celebration are masterpieces. Much better than the originals, imo.

Go on YouTube and look up, Celebration Day. Their last concert with Jason on drums.

Mine was Sammy Hagar at Ector County Coliseum in Odessa Texas. He came down from the roof on top of a red Camaro, playing. I can't remember what song it was (yep, I was young and under-the-influence). It might have been the start of I Can't Drive 55.

Mine was Led Zeppelin, 1977 at the Forum. I was in the 10th grade and wasn’t old enough to drive. Mom dropped me off on the corner. She went to her brothers in Redondo. At some time she started circling the Forum, until I was at the corner. Mom was the best.
