Eh sucks but then again his half ass effort is obviously better than a lot of people all in. Plus his name draws attention be it good or bad.

I listened to about half before work... He's of the same mindset most pro's and most vital members,  more whoops and dragon's backs.

Great listen... Justin impressed me. Tons of depth and knowledge coming out of him. At 29, he has a mountain of life experiences. Pretty cool.

Sure did, at the last round of the year in a depleted field.

But a podium is a podium.

Not a hill I'm willing to die on but if you think that Justin Hill is putting in maximum effort all the time then you don't pay as close of attention to this sport as I thought you did.

I remember him looking VERY GOOD on a JGR Suzuki, only to pull off the track, leave the Georgia Dome before the main event was even over - just to go sing karaoke at a bar. I wish I was making that up. Joe Gibbs had thrown a ton of money at James Stewart, and when that didnt pan out - they tried the same with Justin. They ended up closing shop just a few lears later. I cant help but feel like the Gibbs folks deserved better.

It’s no secret Justin is not killing himself training every week. Depleted field or not, there were 19 dudes who finished behind him that are undoubtedly putting in 2-3 times the amount of effort and time that Justin does. Not to mention he was completely removed from racing for a while during his short tenure in law enforcement.

Haven’t watched the whole thing but he did say he did the “cruise” thing last year and hated it. So maybe he’s back?

Time will tell.

Probably exactly what I'd say if I'd just had a subpar year and was still looking for a paycheck 😉

Yep, gotta walk the walk.

Hill bros are some of the most bike skill talented guys the sport has seen. I still remember the legend of Josh hitting that booter at Albany on his 85.

If you follow Hill's interviews over the years he always says he wasn't putting in the effort but is now working like a maniac. The trouble is when he then later on says again he wasn't putting in the effort it's now describing a time he had said he was working like a maniac in.

That being said he's definitely a more articulate and interesting character than most of the riders in moto.

Did anyone notice Ho is wearing a t-shirt saying 'Fist'?  Is he advocating for his favourite sexual practices?

You are the Aussie version of Magoofan you love the sound of your own voice and guess what you aren’t as funny as you think you are. Gypsy is known in the sport and the racers respect him which is evident by them talking freely on his show and also answering his questions during press conferences after the races on the other hand you are known on Vital as an absolute Floppa and no one likes you (same goes for Magoofan). Get a life Troll!

Hey Gypsy, I didn't know this was your burner account.  Welcome to Vital.

It's so amazing that riders answer your questions at a press conference. Who would have thought a press conference was the kind of place where that would happen?  And they even go on your show.  Wow.  Perhaps it's more to do with promoting themselves and their sponsors than answering your interminable questions and listening to you drone on about growing the sport via an imaginary Netflix show or about how amazing Ju Jitsu is.

Josh will always be one of the great what ifs in the history of the sport to me. He was right there with Dunge and RV in that changing of the guard 2010 SX season. He started that season 6, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2. I believe he fought an injury the rest of the season. I don't know if I'm remembering right but I think he had one of the dumb SX only contracts back then. Maybe if he had been racing MX he wouldn't have been trying backflips. He's definitely got way more passion to ride than Justin. He still constantly ripping to this day. Good for him he's been able to carve out a career free riding

He was signed to L&M Yamaha SX only with Bubba as a teammate. Larry Brooks (manager) also told him not to backflip and that it was a dumb idea and not worth it. Hill was on the cool guy program while Dung and RV were hunkered down. That leg injury Hill had was gnarly from that flip.

Idk man, he was pretty bad outdoors. I don’t even know if he had a podium outside his post LL’s debut. Think he got a third at Broome.

SX though, guy hauled.

9 top 10s including a podium in 2023. Should he be riding for free? There are far worse riders that have probably made more money than Justin. Friese comes to mind.

That’s not true at all, Hill was on Jgr in and 2018 and 2019 but by then they’d stopped racing there, if they mean 2018 Hill broke his foot in a crash so he couldn’t finish the race.
