I just reread the middle part of your post again.
You think BMC and I made up a lie to try and get your salary? Man, I’m gonna be totally honest, that may be the most mental thing I’ve ever heard.
Again, duke was my mechanic. That was what I agreed to the day I signed the deal. Never once did I ask for a change or for BMC to be on the team. When I was asked who I wanted my guy to be in 2019, I asked for Justin Myerson. He wouldn’t relocate. BMC said yes and would relocate. Believe he is still on AJE to this day.
We rode with you guys one day, and I got the call that evening. They are truly master manipulators if they fabricated this story. I’m pretty sure Nate got screwed by Tony too, maybe we could get the straight story out of him now.
I’ll let the hate out my heart because so much time has gone by and it only affected me very temporarily. If they used you as a pawn like this, legendary maneuver by the AJE crew.
Dude, You are looking like a clown on a public forum. You are better than this. I mean WTF

Is he though? Sounds to me like this is a very well thought out and intentional thing he's doing.
I'm the guy who originally said Starling annoyed me, so obviously I'm not gargling anyone....but this dude seems absolutely unhinged now.
@Kyle978 Let the hate out of your heart? Dude....get a grip.
FYI I am NOT the Nate in this story 😂
I 100% remember that day. But I never said a word about your bike or anything of that sort. That wasn’t my place nor did I care about anything other than just riding.
From my understanding, yes nate got screwed too.
But I never spoke about you. Never. Hence why I was wondered what happened for you to not like me. Had no issue with you. You and Cole did your thing, I did mine and was happy to have a spot to race a dirt bike!
So, since we all know who Jstarling81 is (Justin Starling)...I think it only fair because he is saying negative things about Justin that we know Kyles full name.
Let's use some logical consistency here. I don't know anyone involved to have an opinion on their trustworthiness, I only know what I've read here.
You said they lied to you. You said they didn't pay you as they originally agreed. You said they changed up details of your arrangement and you were out before the racing even started.
With these facts at hand, why is it some inconceivable that they lied about this issue with JS? His stories here have been consistent, while the other party is apparently anything but. Seems like a decent chance that everyone got used to some degree, no?
Dam I can’t believe you hv to pay for all that . A tiny bit similar to a 1099 Eastern European Chicago truck, trailer lease. Truck, trl payment , numerous insurance plans, crooked security & escrow 500 each a week, tablet, fake occ insurance, fuel is Huge. If they didn’t run 20-43 hr days 7 days a week . You wouldn’t make a dime. I did hv 1 week I made a negative 288.00 & the week was brutal. A local 125 kid for local races gets 2,500 from a small energy drink co, a local salon chain & a local trucking co all pitch in money . In 98 a local got 2 free 125& 250 , tires, gear, goggles, fuel, etc. race Fri night lake Geneva & Byron iL. The winner could make 4,800 . You would think you could make 5 times that today. Hell I want 10k to run some ones pipe . Probably won’t get that huh ? Lol
There’s a chance, but the timing was pretty damn impeccable and I would hate to have to admit I’m wrong after all this time.
I'll be staying anonymous, but I ran rider support for a well known company in the industry for a few years. Justin was one of our riders for 2 of those years if i remember correctly. He was without a doubt one of the most professional riders I ever dealt with and aside from being a great guy he was always aware of his role in the relationship (receiving compensation/bonus opportunity to increase the sales of our product). Many of the pro's i worked with thought they were getting paid simply because they existed and were fast, Justin certainly wasn't one of those guys. He really understands the business side of racing and is a great representative for the companies/teams he associates with. Just sharing my 2cents because I hate to see a good man attacked online.
Pro playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers.
Reality is well probably never know the truth, but a shady team pulling shady antics probably has a place somewhere in the story.
If you’re up for it, let’s meet up, have a beer and talk about all of this. My treat.
I just personally believe there’s a lot of finger pointing in the wrong direction here and I’d love to do what we can to clear it up. Again, always thought you were cool and all this time have wondered what the deal was.
If not, I totally understand. but offer is always going to be in the table here.
Yeah man that sounds good. My in-laws live in Coca Beach so I’m in Florida pretty often, I’ll reach out next time I’m there. I’ll bring a bicycle.
Like I said, this would be the most well played AJE move of all time. My interactions with that team, friends getting fucked by teams and companies, and all the other BS I’ve seen pulled has made it hard to be a fan of the sport sometimes now that I’m completely removed other than a few people. The shit I, you and others could drop on this site would make it melt. Dirt bikes are just too damn fun to give up totally, so sometimes I get bitter about the industry side of it.
If this is a case of a true caught-in-the-middle situation, I apologize. Not sure if I should nuke my posts or let it ride.
All you’re gonna find on Google is a couple mugshots
Bitter about the industry side of this....yup, I hear you and agree.
I've been a race mechanic most of my working life and have been screwed a good few times. Long hours, always away from home and of course the money was mostly shit. I stuck it out because I loved moto.
Just after Covid I took a real job and finally at 54 yrs old I can say that I'm earning decent money, sadly I left the move to late and I can't get a bond from a bank to buy a house...and my retirement is looking bleak. I blame moto but I need to move on and look ahead.
My love of moto caused this...and the same can happen to riders..
Kyle and Justin, go have that beer and clear the air, you are both good dudes and life is to short man to live with grudges.
Wholly Fuck!

I’m not sure that’s chess, but he is entertaining at times. Sometimes it hurts my brain.
Hopefully you guys can sit down and work it all out!
Yeah, get a room.
I was kinda hoping they were gonna fight.
On a lighter note, I can't be the only one that cringes every time Leigh Diffey says Justin's last name (Barcia too). Leigh does a decent job in the booth, but those two last names, his accent destroys. LOL

Somewhat off topic... but Moranz's parents (and I assume where he rides based on the tracks there) live several miles South of me. Several weeks ago there was a report that made the local TV news that a dirt bike rider was seriously hurt near that location. They never gave the riders name. Does anyone know who it was? I don't think it was Moranz.
EIDAVE introduced me to the Starling family about 10 years ago and have been working with him and his parents ever since. Justinsis parents are part of the crew at all the PRO SX, Supermotocross and USA MXoN races. His dad is part of the gate crew you see on TV at all the races and mom at check in for the riders/family/crew check in.
1st year with Moranz and I have always liked his creativity.
Great family.
The arc of this story was awesome. Foes become friends. Who needs Netflix?
Justin, we doing any GNCC this year? Check out the US Sprint Enduro Series as well, might be more up your alley and can do it on a bone stock MX bike no problem.
Obviously not going to help pay your bills but easy race to show up and spend $100 and do some racing.
Post a reply to: What happened to Starling & Moranz?
