Hey guys really need some help here as I’m probably on hour 12 trying to answer these questions.
1. What bike did these forks come off of? I believe it’s something like 1990-1992 Honda CR250 or CR500 but can’t confirm
2. Once I know what dirtbike they came off of, does anyone know what this part might be? I found it when I took off the axle clamp holders from the tube at the bottom and it needs a new o-ring and weird plastic ring.
if you guys are unsure, maybe you know someone that’s an expert in Honda show

Those seal holders look like 1991 Honda. 1990 were a little chunkier and had a plastic wear ring and 1993 were all one piece - no separate seal holder. Couldn't tell you whether 125, 250 or 500 though, sorry.
What model number is on the fork lugs?
This is how they read:
Left Lug:
0K06
KZ3-L
SA-1
Right Lug:
0K09
KZ3-R
SA-2
1992-1993 CR125, or 1992-1994 CR250, or 1992-1994 CR500.

Any chance you know what the part is I showed? They don’t show this in the parts diagrams.
It wasn’t any of these models either. They all have a 2 nut clamping style on the axle. Mine have the 4 nut, and the seal holder part is different
I think these are 1989 CR250R forks:

Both use the KZ3 model number, as well as being a four-bolt clamp type
1989 CR500R uses the ML3 model numbering, and the 1989 125 was a standard fork (not inverted)
The 1989 fork's lugs had no overhang...
The 1990 was the same...
The 1991 had overhang...
The 1992 had overhang but changed to 2 bolts clamping the axle...
Damn, thought for sure that was it...
I am reasonbly certain that Showa and KYB were intermixed accross motor size in the same model year. They look like KYB and not the Showa that came on my 93 CR 250.
I peeled a showa sticker off it if that makes any difference I’m 80% certain they are off a 1991 CR250. But I still don’t know what that part is I’m showing that the spring sits on. They’re inside the fork lugs
Is it the bottoming cone?
I’m not sure what it’s called but yeah it looks like it performs the same function. Mine does not slip inside the spring though and I can find any schematics on that part. I need one o ring and one plastic ring the fits against the bevel. No honda schematics are showing this part
Aftermarket companies aren't listing it either, the O-ring should be easy to replace, measure the size and replace with a Buna-N Nitrile 70 Duro O-ring...

The plastic ring may be more difficult.
Hi mate, did you ever find out what year these were I’m in the uk and have a set of forks with the same numbers and struggling to identify them

Hey. Yeah I did. They’re definitely from a 1991 Honda CR250R or CR500R. I compared all the parts on the diagrams of all that was suggested and got the 1991 year.
I have a set of forks maybe 1992 less beat up than these I'll be happy to give you
