I’ve used a Cricut for some custom at home lettering that I didn’t want to send off. Holds up pretty good in my experience.
My wife has a cricut, sublimation printer, and heat press, so she does mine.
Bikegraphix does mine and they do extremely good work. Thicker material and holds up super well. I've had a ton done by them and never had one peel up or fade.
Those guys are awesome over there !

That looks awesome. I assume they need your jerseys to apply them?
Yep, you can just mail them your jersey assuming they aren’t local to you. They are in KC.
Hit up Jesse, he’s doing our jerseys this season!

Agreed on this, bought a few and did it at home myself. Held up all season last year and still looks new.
I use my silhouette to do my and my son's jeresys and helmets

I just ordered some dtf from ninja transfers. See how it does for 25 bucks I got enough to do 6 fronts on jeresys.
The Ninja DTF transfers are good, I have used them a bit in the past. I have yet to try my DTF printer at home on a jersey, guess its a good time to try!
Agreed! I sent them two jerseys and had them back within a week and they looked amazing.
Etsy has some pretty cool ones on there for pretty cheap. I've gotten mine off there before, then the wife ironed them on.
Are you using a heat press or an iron for these? I actually have a vinyl cutter at home thought about getting some heat transfer material and seeing how it does on jerseys but dont have a heat press.
I ordered some Heat Transfer Vinyl from Amazon, I think you get 12 feet for about $15, then I found a used heat press on marketplace for $40 along with a cricut type cutter and I can make any lettering combo I want. All in I was about $100 which seems to be the price of about 2 jersey send outs.
Here is one I did just last week. I like it. I have experimented with some other colors and fonts. If you go this route my only advice would be that you should try to get a black layer behind anything you do. These jerseys love to have the dye bleed through to the vinyl if it can and the black will block it.
Here is another one, I don't love it, but in the end it cost me like $1 to do
and here is one with some bad bleed though, I didn't know at the time, but I should have backed it with black first.
and lastly, if we are talking DIY, here is a helmet I painted.... don't rat me out for copyright infringement though!
What printer do you have?
I have looked about get a sublimation printer
eco-tank 8550 converted to DTF.

Jesse is helping me out and so far is super helpful. I'll report back once I get the final product but so far so good
Here is the ninja transfers dtf. $25 shipped with enough to do 6 jerseys. I'll do his name and number with my vinyl cutter later tonight.
How do you apply them?
I used my heat press at 310* for 13 seconds.
Cover layer pulled off 10x easier then vinyl. If they last a season, I'll never do vinyl again.
I need to look into a heat press.
How are you cutting 2 color vinyl on a cricut?
That's 2 layers not a 2 color single piece.
How are you doing all the small logos? Are they all multiple layers of the different colors? My wife has done a bunch of vinyl work with her cricut and I want her to do our jerseys as far as name and number. 2 layers, blk/wht seems easy for that but your front logos look fairly intricate especially being smaller.
I think the small logos are transfers from ninja transfers. You upload your design and they print and mail it
I do 2 layers, cut and pressed seperately
The alignment in the layers is really good. Do you just eyeball it?

I have the sponsors send the logo and I edit it in photoshop then create the gang sheet to get max quantity. Then when they came in I cut and placed them on the jeresy with high temp tape and pressed them.
