Looking for potential places to ride as my wife and I are considering a move there.

Also if anyone has opinions on living in MO that they want to share.  Thanks.

What area are you considering moving to? KC, St. Louis or? mostatemx.com is the website for the state series.

Fair point lol.  We don't really have any knowledge of MO.  Would prefer smaller towns or rural areas Looking mostly for quiet and safe places and hopefully not too far from a track if possible.

I’m in Southwest Missouri and our track selection here is a bit limited. Possum Hollow MX and 4-States MX are two cool places near us. You’re going to be about 3 - 4 hours out from any KC, or Oklahoma tracks from here though. KC has a lot of great options and a great moto scene. Lots of good people in that area.

After living in both SWMO growing up, KC and now NEOK around Tulsa.  You'd be much better off crossing the line to OK.  Cheaper cost of living and way more tracks.

Archview just across the border from STL in Illinois, and Sweeney's in Park Hills.

I was trying to hit 4-st in Mo.  se Mo.  for the pro am. But weather cold rain etc held me up. I wanted to hit the race then ride the AX track 3-4 days. I,ve been all ovr the state it’s hilly & very muggy perfect for me. Loamy tracks I never seen sand anywhere . If you want sand tracks Wi. Has them .  They hv quite a few bid money or extra money races, they pop up on my fb.  I would pick Mo. Ovr Ok. Getting to close to Tx. And bad stuff.  If you can handle winter Wi. Is normal just avoid Milwaukee , Madison is expensive. A ton of rivers z& lakes . KC covers a huge area .  Last June I del to a bad area the projects . 3-7 sticks of dynamite then full auto ak47 & ar15,s for 20 min. Then a small break & start 21.30 to 04.30.  A few miles out of KC people say the trouble is outside the city a few miles .  I would avoid kc.really nothing there but people anyway. I70 late sept 80 & muggy perfect. A day later northern Wi.  30 degrees at night.

St. Louis might b a better option a lot of traffic there. And just to the east is flat iL. LTM is a bit of a drive but it’s easy & flat.  Mo. All the towns seem to be off of i70 hills up & down.  I44 same hills Springfield is the biggest town.  I talked to Mo. people about getting a job there for this winter doing anything. I thought it was a good location for doing AX. They said there isn’t much there. The wages where Very Low.  I,m in Cleveland now a lot of closed manufacturing bldgs. As far as Midwest states Wi. Would be the most fun & jobs r plentiful.  I see the rest of the states not doing good.  The bad on Wi. Is the summer is short . There is a high energy during summer though . Big tourist st for camping , water stuff , racing, concerts , etc.  The people r the nicest , a work hard play hard state.
