Hi, this is unique bike I got many years ago. Was found near Beaver Falls where Keystone/Pro Action shop is. The obvious trick parts are modified fox arm, real CR250 head, foxs. I got the bike 20 years ago and these are those pictures.
I reached out to George Quay, hope he can shed more light on it,,but if anyone else can I'd appreciate it. I always figured it was a local western PA A/ Pro rider as this bike when I got it was obviously in storage a long time there.
Thanks.

Nice find….
Sometimes the acquisition process is the best story….I have done some pretty irrational things to get certain bikes….I can look at each one of the bikes in my collection and tell you a story about how I acquired it….like driving to UP of Michigan to buy a very clean low hr 2001 Yz250….. mind you, I live 10-12 hrs away in upstate NY…or driving to Central Mass to look at a 90 KX 250 off facebook, with photos so poor you could barely tell it what it was, but I seen something that made me think it was low hrs….. stock handlebars and seat cover…. I was right, bike had maybe 10hrs on it from new… or the time I bought my 81 RM250 off a tweaker in Miami, though for sure I was getting robbed by this guy…. Turns out, he was legit but definitely tweaking for $….
Nice CR with trick parts!!😍
Sandman....I have done some pretty irrational things to get certain bikes...the most irrational one I done was taking my wife on one trip.

Ha…big mistake taking the wife…I have over 20 bikes in my collection… according to my wife, I don’t need anymore…part of the fun of getting another bike is to keep it a covert operation….😂

Wow you are a collector! This is a interesting subject,,,how to get the bikes without the hassle. My collection is a bit larger,,I made a list cause I forget. My buddy used to say when bike delivered to his house,,Oh its Rivs bike not mine...he didn't want his wife to know...and vise versa....
I also in my past would have the shipper meet me at a back mall parking lot , rather than my house...then I could leave the bike in my van for a while.
I also bought 2 new huskies 2017 TC250, and 2018 TC125 when they first came out...I scored them cheaper in another state..so I got list of inventory bikes the dealer had with discount if I got 2 or more same day,,fished around and found another buyer for new bike, he paid 1/2 gas,,,,told wife I had a paid trip to visit family,,,picked up other bike along with my newest one. When I got home I ordered 2018 stuff for the 17 model( blue fork guards instead of yellow),,, had identical #s put on,,and kept them together out back in barn. When I went riding I took one at time..I was good till one day 6 months later she actually walked back to call me for dinner and seen them lined up beside each other....She rarely if ever went back there as 'I seen snakes' back there and she was afraid...she walked in said hi to my buddy and looked over at them...busted!
Yikes, they desecrated that Fox Factory swingarm!
Yes,those shocks have a new lever ratio that is off the Charts🤣
Crazy idea with that swingarm! If no luck with George, try DJ Korezen at Pro Action suspension. He was with Keystone back in the day I believe? But close with George.
Post a reply to: Keystone 1980 CR250 Any information??
