Never had to replace a rotor til I dropped my bike and bent it, and seeing the huge disparity in rotors available is a bit overwhelming. What do you guys use? OEM is over $300 on motosport, and aftermarket ones go under $50. Is there a quality non oversized rotor available?
I built a set of spare wheels and put Tusk rotors from Rocky Mountain on them. They were a quarter of the cost of OE, and I can’t tell the difference between Tusk and OEM. I’ve had that wheel set for several years now and have had no issues.
I haven't tried a Tusk. I have tried Braking vs whatever KTM ships as OEM, and I could not tell a difference.

Hard to beat Tusk in this department. I’ve tried all kinds of rotors and can’t notice a difference between any of them if they’re all the same size.

Not sure what you were looking at, but the OE front is only $139 and rear is $131

Galfer makes the OE rotors and I’ve never had a problem with them. How bad is it bent ? Use a crescent wrench and bend it back, you probably don’t need to waste money on a new rotor.
Should have specified, 22 KX450. $319 after tax on motosport. I'll order a new one then see if I can bend mine back to be functional as a spare.
Moto master flame on my KX after the original wore out.
Slightly partial, but you can't go wrong with Moto-Master.

Is there a reason you don't want to go oversized? I'd take this opportunity to make a performance upgrade.
It's already 270. How big do you run?
I’ve had extraordinarily good luck with Galfer…especially when it comes of hitting rocks when racing in Baja!
Galfer and Ng make great quality brake discs✌️
Motostuff 280 and you will never have problems
When I tried a cheaper rotor it did not seem to have the feel or bite a better rotor had. Even with time on it
I think maybe the metal is different grade so it gets less bite.
Motostuff. Not sure if anybody brought it up but the friction coefficient of different rotors is a real thing if you use your brakes to their potential. If not it might not matter much
I ran the Braking Batfly on my YZ and loved it and it looks good 👌🏼
