Dems won huge on every issue and every office. 61% of Washington voters voted to keep our carbon tax on gas which adds 30-40 cents, at least, per gallon of gas.
The only issue that isn't going left is the ban on nat gas.
HUGE divide in this state between Seattle and everywhere else.

I know that when I cross the border from Idaho into Washington that gas goes up instantly about $.80 to $1.

We have about 66 cents a gallon on gasoline for carbon tax alone, going up to about 80 cents next year, and increasing every year after that...

California has the highest per gallon cost of gas with Washington 3rd and California has the highest gas tax with Washington 4th. The Seattle Times pumps out so much climate crisis porn that those on the west side(where the majority of the population lives) can't help but have their views shaped.
But, you get it LungButter being a northwest type like me. Just go easy on the influx of Washington residents moving to your state in the near future.

I think they should require parents to homeschool their kids. Kids would learn easier from their parents because they think alike. So the style of teaching suits each kid because its their own parent.

I don't know about that ,kids are masters at tuning out the stuff their parents tell them. Some Asian countries trade kids with other families for homework/study time just for that reason.
