Most of the people I chat with outside the forum, I met in non moto. I hadn’t followed the races in several years, was off a bike even longer so, I gravitated over here having more in common with things outside of MX.

Not afraid to admit. I've used it probably 3-4 times. It's always been for egregious posts that are WAY over the line (racist or religion bashing).
I was a mod on another major, high traffic board, the report feature is a double-edged sword. You get the people that abuse it and "run to mommy" every chance they get....but it also helped the mods who didn't always catch everything that were serious infractions. AFAIK, this board has one mod (Mav) and the admins....for the amount of traffic here, there are not enough mods. The problem is...finding people to fill those positions that won't let the power go to their heads or treat members differently when it's someone they dislike/don't agree with. It can't be a "good ole boys" club either...that's a recipe for disaster.
People just get too salty in Non-Moto. Most of the guys on here can literally win any argument, and then they think they’ve won, even if it takes 10 pages.
Those are my sentiments also.
I don't think threads should be moved if they are political, religion or any non-over-the-top subject. (If it is over the top it should be moved/deleted ASAP)
On the other hand personal attack threads should be deleted and vulgar language toward other posters should not be tolerated, it just hinders normal civil discussion with "ad hominem attacks". And for sure PM's to posters directly.
