I turn my auto-renew off right after I subscribe every year.  Sure hope they do the Black Friday deal again this year.

Thank you, just cancelled! Mine was set to renew on the 23rd for 79.99. They offered 49.99/yr when I cancelled, but I'll wait it out and try and get that black Friday deal again.

Where do I check my renewal date? I signed up last January for the Chiefs playoff game and got a year for $25.00

There’s a deal through Mastercard, it’s like $3 a month.

Why wouldn’t you wait and see what they offer this year ? I’ve done it the last two years.

Exactly what I did as well. $12 for front-to-back SX coverage + whatever the wife wants to watch on Peacock for the next 6 months is a no brainer for me. Much better than the $100 a month package that would allow me to watch the races on typical cable.

Wait for Black Friday.  I've done the $12.99 a year deal for the past 3 or 4 years now.  I actually created a new email address last year to sign up because I had used mine, my wife's, and my work email already.

I got a class action lawsuit mailer for Peacock auto-renew.  I don;t know what the settlement will be, but I think they charged me for an extra package for $60 and I knew it would be impossible to get it back, so I just ate it.  I filled out the mailer and mailed it in.

Same here, I already got my new email ready, but it may be $24.99 this year, if my source is correct. Still the best deal….

Is that the ad-free package?

I think last year I did the black Friday deal.  But while watching the SX replays I was forced to watch ads, so had to pay an extra fee to make those go away.  I think that was like another $5-$10/month.

You'll probably get $1.75 if you win.  But hopefully it will be enough deterrent that they quit doing it.

It ain’t that complicated to opt out of auto renew.  Every year after I sign up for $12.99 a year for Black Friday, I just immediately log back in to their website and deselect the auto renewal option.  The way I see it, only suckers are getting auto renewed at a higher price. 🤷🏻‍♂️
