You all saying that the build a dohc 250cc engine of course it looks like the other bikes. But don’t you see that all other brand bike engine does not look like each other except the triumph one that looks identical to ktm. And nobody is saying that this is bad they just saying the truth. I bet if someone would take a 09 yz250f and put the ktm engine in it with the same suspension as the triumph the bike would feal almost the same.

Looks like they lost about 3 HP when they did. 😉

Funny how some claim they copied this and copied that and same as this  …. yet no one is claiming how slow the motor is or how bad the suspension is or how bad handling is.

Compare that to all the other brands and this bike sure seems like it was done right.

 Even if theTriumph is a copy of a ktm, and im not saying it is . wouldn't that be a great bike a KTM with kyb suspension i would bye that.

They have RC onboard 

They didn't rush their bikes and even delayed the 450 to make sure everything was perfect

They didn't just chuck a light on their 250 and call it an enduro bike

It's been a slow process, all done so well. They have great teams, riders, communication, and a strong product, and it seems they are slowly becoming one of the top bikes in such a short time!

I'm wondering who is behind it all and how their business model has been so successful, really

They have an extremely smart and wealthy owner who has slow played the development of the company since he took over. They took I think 5 years to develop their first model. 

 The motocross plan was conceived in 2018, so it’s not like it’s an overnight thing.

It might not have been so slow had COVID not entered the game.

It’s clear triumph took influence from ktm on the motor design but I’m fairly certain they are not made in the same facility and there are differences for sure. Outside of the motor everything else is different from the ktm.

Not to mention that the engine characteristics are vastly different when you actually ride one. Could have to do with internal gear ratios too but I’m just saying.

Well, it dropped a P2 in the Swap shootout, just behind the Yamaha with a few of the test riders putting it in P1.

Let’s see how the rest of the shootouts place it, but that’s an impressive start.
