Texas Winter racing.

Tx. Has the most pro am races quite a few left . If a guy needs a few more points. Go get them in Texas.

There’s another freestone in Oct.26,,27

Between the Texas winter series and the new moto playground “awful 8” series.  There will be tons of racing this winter.   Sucks they have to be racing on the same weekends for most of the races…..

Cool, does 55+ have cash pay back ?  Or 50+ ?  

I hate that the Awful 8 and Texas Winter Series is racing on top of each other; it'll hurt both series. 

Not only the same weekends but in similar areas on the same weekend which will split the pool of racers. Underground and Swan, Cycle Ranch and Iron Dog, and the worst Athens and Billa Dilla which are only 25 miles apart. Nothing like a good promoter battle to fuck up what has been a good thing. I'm surprised at some of the tracks that chose a side and agreed to participate.

They moved up last 2 weekends of A8 as to not conflict with dallas SX.

Same thing happened in Oklahoma, and in my opinion wasn't for the better. Texas Winter Series imo had some of the fastest kids in the nation and was short and to the point. Now a new series is started for the "betterment" of the tracks and I just don't see it being better for anyone. Less competition on the track and less money in the individual track pockets. 

 This is not in the best interest of any track. 

Looks like a cool series, but man MotoPlayground sure doesn't mind charging you. Their events are pricey. 

They have good marketing (some of it I don't understand and is wild) but they know how to promote a big race. However, I do not like them taking over the local racing series because instead of each series having it's own identity, everything now has the same look and feel. I personally don't think it helped the Oklahoma series and I don't think it'll help the Texas series. Time will tell. Not a knock at the MPG group, they are a business and making business decisions and are growing nation wide, but not buying into for the betterment of the track or the riders, at least not in Oklahoma. 

GNC International Final is going on all this week/weekend at Oak Hill, as well.

Did Freestone not start the whole winter series to start with ? 

Was really surprised to see Playground come out with a series on top of every Texas Winter Series round. Freestone has been running the Texas Winter Series for about 20 years now, has the same dates every year and has built the series to the premier series in Texas. 

Tx overlapping series is nothing new

I miss the battles on mxcrazy and txmotocross every time conflicting series schedules would come out

If you want to know if you have a chance at Lotettas, race Round 1 of the TX winter series..Always had elite talent in every class.

To schedule at date against Billa F'n Dilla shows that you're not really in tune with the scene here. If TX ever gets another national, it'll be held at BFD. Weather permitting... anyone within a few hundred mile radius, should put that winter series date on the calendar.
