So this is interesting. If Jett gets 2nd, he only wins the title if Hunter wins. He loses if Hunter gets 3rd. (This is all assuming a podium of consisting of some combo of Jett, Hunter and Tomac).

I really think he has always been extremely fast. crashes and injuries can really screw with your head and make you question yourself. Hopefully this is the big turnaround for him cause he rode fukn awesome!

Points are paid on overall not per moto. Only way hunter wins championship is if hunter wins and Jett finishes 3rd.

The more I think about this Olympic scoring, the more I hate it.
Moto 1 eli would have been better off letting a roczen or Anderson beat him to increase their chances of finishing ahead of the other title contenders overall than he would have been just beating those guys if they had been up there. Stuff like this is never a consideration if motos are scored individually.
