Tire deal alert

I just picked up a stock size (80/100-21 and 120/80-19) front and rear Bridgestone x30 for less than $90 by the time it is all said and done.  The tires were on sale on Motorsport to begin with.  My local track hands out $20 Motorsport discount cards with codes at sign-up, and Bridgestone is offering a $50 rebate on a set of MX tires currently.  The total for my order with tax and free shipping was $139, and I’ll get a $50 rebate in the form of a prepaid Visa card.  I paid quite a bit more than this for the last MX34 rear tire I bought by itself.  A set of brand name tires for just under $90 is one helluva deal!  Just wanted to share.

I literally just bought a new rear Dunlop 5 days before seeing this.  I guess I’ll just have a spare set now.  At that price, I couldn’t not buy them.

Where or how do you get the rebate? Is it through Bridgestone?

I have received rebates from Bridgestone and Michelin in the past when purchasing from RMATV and they did all the paperwork and I just received the Visa card in the mail a handful of weeks later.

Just a general FYI but dunlop often has rebates but they are only available at brick and mortar stores which is honestly pretty cool of them.

Unfortunately, I found out yesterday that Motosport doesn’t file your rebate paperwork for you.  I had to fill it out myself.  It is on the Bridgestone website.

Try a Tusk Talon front / Emex 35 rear.

$120 bucks for the pair and they rock, even cheaper if your local offroad series does race gas credits like most of ours do.

How hard are they to mount up?

Feels the same mounting as any other tire.

The EMEX 35 front looks like a MX33 front but I prefer the Talon front. EMEX 35 rear looks very similar to the MX34 funny enough it came out in 2020 well before the MX34 did.

If its mostly rocky id try the Crossbite rear with Talon Front. EMEX 35 does good in rocks and wet too but more of a soft conditions tire so its going to have its limitations.

Im East Coast guy so mostly Red Clay/Sand/Rocks here.

With you being more east coast I was concerned you hadn't spent much if any time in the conditions we have in the midwest.

I might just try the AT82 since the Starcross 5's are discontinued.

I dont think the AT82 is going to be all that great in rocky dry terrain either, it has very spread out knobs like most other soft terrain tire.

NEPG races in Oklahoma this weekend, look at some photos after the race see that the pros are running.
