who gives a shit, that you don't give a shit?
Aging, injured competition paired with the fact that AC and Forker who were the other mega talents never materialized due to injuries means the door is wide open for Jett to do some serious damage. It’s looking like Jett is only dealing with a prime Sexton at this point. Of course Hannah was taken out of his prime, RJ his and recently Roczen in 2017. Staying healthy looks like that will be a bigger challenge than his competition.
Updated motocross results.
Added Rich Thorwaldson, who actually won his 9th race at the 1973 Pocono National.
I would like to note that in '72 and '73, Inter-AMA and Trans-AMA races were run simultaneously as Nationals. The top American was declared the National winner, and given full race win points. Most official AMA win lists exclude these results, so I have decided to do the same. However, MX Sports (and the Racer X Vaults) seem to recognize these results, so I've had to sift these out for riders who raced back then. This was done prior to start of the season, but Rich Thorwaldson was not updated by mistake.
After Pala Jett is sitting at 26 wins in motocross (250 and 450 combined), 11th on the all time list. If he gets another 4 he will knock Emig out of tenth place on the list.
He’s also on 34 overall SX and MX wins, 17th place on the all time list, one short of Windham.

end of this season is going to be scary how quick he catches up close to the top guys of the list. (RC4 aside)
There’s a reasonable chance that by the end of SX next year he’ll reach 50 career wins.
34 total sx/mx wins at 20yrs old is wild. He's 21 in August but still insanely impressive. Good chance he'll be coming up on his 5th title right around the time he turns 21. Truly his biggest competition isn't anyone on the gate. Only injuries can derail him
Will we ever see Jett race with the #18 plate again?
This is some dedication. Any side bets on how many months/years this guy has in him.
Great point! I said only injuries can derail him. But how about boredom. If he's just winning everything, is he ready to call it a career at 25-26yrs old?
I think he was referring to the OP keeping his list updated
Jett is now on 27 career motocross wins; if he gets three more he will go past Emig and take the #10 spot on the all time list.
For combined MX and SX wins he is now equal with Windham on 35. One more and he will equal Emig; two more and he will be sitting equal with Stanton.
"It’s looking like Jett is only dealing with a prime Sexton at this point" You don't think Hunter has anything for him?
TM
Maybe Jet decides to do what JMB did after a few seasons?
If he wins two more sx and outdoor titles each he should venture over to the GPs in his prime and take that on. However I think Prado will give him some fits in a few years outdoors over here. They ride very similar.
After High Point:
28 career MX wins, 11th on the all time list, just one behind Emig.
36 career wins combined MX and SX, 15th on the all time list, equal with Emig.
Back from Japan; updated.
how far off being top 10 all time?
Pit Row
For combined MX and SX wins he needs to get past Reedy who is on 55, so another 20 wins. At the rate he's going that would be next year some time.
If he gets four more wins this MX season he will go past RV and sit 9th on the all time list for MX.
With a win at Southwick Jett has now equaled Emig on 29 career wins for MX and sits with him at equal 10th on the all time list for outdoor wins.
How many more SMX wins does Jett have than McGrath?
Or do we add these to his MX or SX wins?
You still plan on tracking this @smee113 ?
I think eventually they’ll have to count SMX wins in their career totals. They are legitimate races, and riders from the 80’s and earlier count 500 class wins which is no longer available to ride.
Jett now moves past Emig and sits clear on tenth on the all-time motocross win list with 30 wins. He’s one short of Villopoto.
bruh wht 😳🤯 whts the top 10 looking like , I kno RC , dunge & Eli gotta be top 3 , whts 4th thru 8th
Yes, 2025 MX & 26 SX
30 mx wins already?! God damn. 21 yrs old
Yeah, I'll get the list back up to date. I'll try to have it updated before next weekend.
