I'm not sure if this has been posted on here already.

I was just watching the 2nd 250 moto thanks to DanDunes and i'm pretty sure that someone throws a rock or something at Dean Wilson.....it's around 8:36 in the first video.

Good eye.. I think Jason Wiegant (sp?) noticed the rock get thrown at Deano. He like pauses in mid speech when it happens and says "rocks getting thrown all around at the riders". Then he says " not something these riders deal w/in testing". Joe you should go back and listen to the audio at that spot.
I'm pretty sure Weege saw it and Emig didn't because Emig goes on about something else and Weege drops it probably thinking he must not of saw what he thinks he saw. And it's pretty embarrassing to the sport for the everyday new fan that may of been watching so he probably thought better of saying any more about it.

Pretty fckin stupid though. I remember at the Donnington park 08 Des Nations when a water bottle got thrown at JS and thinking that guy needed to get a dirt nap. How the fck do you think "I really should throw something at a rider..Hmm yeah that would be the cool thing to do"?

Yeah, I remember that and all the fuss it started on the boards.

Maybe it was one of those stupid soccer fans (holigans) you'll find all over Europe (Sweden included), who not only starts riots, fights and such, but throws stuff at the players, the referee, other fans etc.

Didn't the Belgians whack American riders with sticks as they went past ?

I remember watching the last F1 in the US ( the race when there was about 6 cars lined up ) and people were throwing bottles of water onto the track. I don't even want to think about the damage that could of been done if a driver took a direct hit.

Also didn't some genius throw a tennis ball at bubba over larocco's leap once ?

Yelling and giving the finger is a little different than throwing rocks. What would you rather if it was you on the track? I'm not saying that any of it is right, but throwing rocks at guys on the track is criminal.

Honestly, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more than it does as much as some people drink at the races.

I watched the race again and noticed that two rocks get thrown at Wilson. One with exactly 27m21s left in the race and a second one with 27m18s left that hits him in the elbow. They were definitely targeting Wilson.
