The fender brace looks terrible, but other than that it looks good.

If you know anything about the new Husaberg 4 stroke enduros, the engine design and the frame make it the lightest handling off-road machine around, everything i have heard and read about the 4 stroke version is just that it is one effin amazing machine.....so trust me, that two stroke with those lights on it might look bulky but it probably is light as a feather in feel and maneuverability.

And clearly its not for mx purposes!

I have a hard time believing that's the 2011 2-stroke Husaberg. Why would they do something that conventional? I was expecting more for sure...

After the wildest rumors have circulated (see section above), here's what might be the first official photo of the Husaberg 2T! An indiscretion of our famous "Agent T" ...

Notice they used the phrase "2T" for those critics that have to be so tedious who keep asking "What is a 2T?".....a goddam abbreviation for 2 STROKE!!!!!!!!

Visually... The bike looks a little off to me. Sorta like that frame wasn't made for that motor but that motor was put in that frame kinda deal. 18" rear with 500 tire doesn't help. Hell, the headlight doubles as a fender brace. Did I say headlight? I'm just saying the bike looks heavy even for an offroad bike. I don't think the color helps much either.

You have to try it before you criticize.

I've ridden the 2010 570 and was very surprised how exciting the bike was to ride - handling, performance, you name it. When I was done, I was ready to head straight for the dealer (problem is, there aren't many dealers around, and MSRP is staggering).

I did some searching and nothing is official yet on this, but I believe Husaberg is admitting to "some 2 stroke development". Others say they have a 300 ready to go for 2011, but for this time around it will nearly mimic the KTM 300. In order to apply their unique 70 degree motor slant, Husaberg has to invent fuel injection for the 2 stroke.

All just stuff I found - nothing confirmed or official.

Totally makes sense that Husaberg would tackle the 2 stroke line. KTM dominates that market right now, and it is very fruitful for them - why not join in and gain marketshare?

That's what i was trying to say above, except i didn't get to ride my buddies own just yet, but all reports have the new designed Husabergs as being amazingly light in feel etc, its the wave of the future with these new engine designs/placements, atleast for yamaha and husaberg

Yeah like I said I was pretty much blown away at how fun it was to ride. I'm not into big-bore bikes, and not a huge fan of 4 strokes (but I'll certainly admit to their advantages).

I couldn't stop laughing as I was riding that 570. It was insane.

A Husaberg dealer was in Colorado and we were parked in the same lot - they came over (my dad has a 'Berg 450) and started talking....then talked a few of us into trying the 570. I almost passed it up, but then said screw-it I'll give it a shot. The dealer was hyping it up so much that I figured he was full of hot air - until I started weaving the bike between the trees up the side of a mountain as if it was a 250.

Their only hurdle will be the ridiculous MSRP - hopefully the 2 strokes can at least match KTM's pricing; if they can do that, they'll gain marketshare quickly I believe.

I like the looks of the new Bergs, KTM's and Husky's. Nice to see something different. I even like the new look on the YZ's.

If you changed the 2011 KX's plastics to white, I am not sure most could identify what it is.

I am probably going to get a new(er) bike in three years when I turn 50. I am excited I will have a lot more choices for a good used bike than I had a few years ago whne I bought my 05 YZ250F
