Given the bike change coming up, is he in/out?

Given the bike change to Kawi, fair to say it may be some time before he's in this event again?

I would say he is out, but, he may try his best to convince kawi to go given he is most likely the best pick for spain in whatever class he races.

The chances of Kawi-America letting him ride a green bike are near zero.

I'm not sure when his new contract is set to commence...

If it's before the MXoN, Kawi would have to let him ride the red bike one more time if GG-Europe is willing to support him.

If not, it's just up to him and GG.

Actually surprised Lewis hasn’t asked Prado this (maybe he has and I missed it 🤔) but if he goes to MxDN and then comes to the states the following week, he’ll have roughly 2 months to test and train on the Kawi for 25’. Imho, he will be in for nations on the GasGas and it will be his last race for the brand.

AMA based contracts normally run to September 30th, and October 1 riders can switch. Not sure if GPs go longer because their series trails into October sometimes especially with the Des Nations. He might still be under Gas Gas control.

I would think he would be on a gas gas at nations and then move over here after.

This raises the question.. IF Factory kawi in America are so against sending a bike to MXON like they have for the past several years... Do we see Prado returning to MXON in the future years?

I thought I heard factory kawi was more against not sending a bike for team USA because of Roger not because of mxon

team Spain have nothing to do with Roger so they may let him go,

An being in mxon being in America next year will work for them

This was my second question in the original post. My understanding is that Kawi is not in for this event, regardless of the location. In short, if you’re on the Kawi team, you’re not riding this event.

If he’s in, this is certainly the case.  Zero chance he shows up to a race he doesn’t get paid to do on a new bike he has probably never even ridden.

I hope he's in because I can't wait to see Hunter and Chase battle Jorge, Tim and Jeffrey. Potentially even Jett too. If the weather holds it's going to be epic.
