Anyone happen to have a Pro Circuit catalog from the early 90s, PDF/digitized is okay. Trying to ID an old works pipe I bought that was listed for a 87 KX250, but did not fit.
The ID shows "KX____87_____1730"
It does NOT fit the 87 KX250 as one would imagine; the mount points are way off and the pipe bumps into the right side OEM radiator (not bent at all) preventing installation. Frame is perfect, but I could not see how to get this pipe to mount, figured it was for a different year and maybe improperly labeled at PC.
Wondering if this is a 86 KX250 pipe, just guessing - would love to see one of the old application sheets from PC.

😆maybe 500pipe
Sandman, the KX 500's exhaust usually has two mounting brackets, and makes more curves.
Jeff Ward's KX also has "KX 87" marked on it:

I'll take a reasonable offer on this pipe if anyone is interested!
Man if that would have fit a 87 kx 250 it would have been golden.
Talked with PC, young guy on the phone wasn't familiar with the model number format "KX 87 1730". He asked me to send pics and he'd have someone look at them.
Will follow up when I know more!
Yes, the header section looks awful long for a 250.
What did you find out?? My first thought was a Kdx 200 pipe..
In my experience, I have seen pipes stamped a year off or with inconsistencies in serial number. It’s possible it’s for an 86 one of those situations you just have to compare pictures and make the best determination you can
