Never been a better reason to get a new bike! Or two…
He’s got a bad ass YZ 315(?) that was raced at RBSR a few years ago. About as good as it gets lol.
All,
Update on my brain cancer... Looks like my glio spread from where my surgery was to a new spot in another location near my ear.
I have a new brain surgery coming up in a week, and then another round of radiation and lumastine and some other clinical trials in the next coming weeks.
Wish me luck on my next surgery!

Keeping you and your family in my prayers. Good energy and wishes sent your way.
Yz229,
I'm just seeing this thread for the first time and I'm praying for you along with everyone else. If you don't mind me asking, what were your symptoms that made you start visiting the doctor before you were diagnosed? Did you start getting severe headaches, nausea, or hearing loss? Also, once you learned you had a tumor, how long after that did it take for the doctors to diagnose you with gliosarcoma? Or, was it in early November that you learned about the tumor and the gliosarcoma?
It sounds like you had some good news not too long ago with good results. Were you thinking you were in remission or were the doctors expecting this to move and sprout up in another area?
Stay strong bud, praying for you and your family.
Praying for a full recovery and strength. You’ve got this!
Everything seemed fine for me, working at point Loma on November 6th. I drove to work, everything was fine. When I showed up at NIWC PAC, some strange things starting happening. Wasn't really sure what was going on. Everyone in front office was thinking I was having a stroke (super fit at 38). Hopped in ambulance, couldn't think of my name, wife's name... Anyone. They finally brought me to USCD, they injected contrast for my quick CT. Turned out I had a giant tumor, but really didn't have anything strange going on.
After my surgery, one of the best surgeon removed it. But also had 7 weeks of intense radiation, chemo with 2.33x dose since February. I just found out 2 weeks ago tumor has spread.
I have some good ideas on how to fix this and thrive. Especially with carnivore diet and fasting.
Let me know if you want to know anything. I have a brain surgery I believe on the 17th. But would love to explain some more about this situation
Best wishes sent your way. I hope you have as good an outcome as I have, so far.
Wow man that is very scary shit. Absolutely zero symptoms and then just one day boom, completely out of the blue, it surfaces. I was thinking maybe you would have experienced some headaches or something before you went in. When you say giant would that be about the size of a golf ball? From the date of your original CT scan, how long after that was your first surgery?
Best wishes on this next operation, we're praying for you. Please keep us updated when you can. I appreciate all that you've shared with us.
It was pretty nuts. I know a lot of people have symptoms before hand, headaches especially. I had no symptoms until they took me to UCSD. Turns out I had midline shift in my brain. I'll see if I can upload a picture here for you to see my inititial tumor back on Nov 6, 2023. I think my initial tumor back then was a little smaller then a golf ball.
The new one that moved in my left temporal started growing which I believe is only 1cm at this point. Look's like I'll have another brain surgery on July 17th.
All the best to you. Good luck.
Just know that you have the best team working on you. Your outcome is not determined by statistics. If you go carnivore, make sure to buy grass fed beef. We've picked up some tasty recipes from the "healing foods kitchen" at Moores. Are they able to remove it through just a small hole? Best of luck brother!

Oh man, sorry to hear about this and what you're going through.
I can kind of relate as my wife has been battling stage 4 colon cancer for four years, she just had more surgery two days ago after being in extreme pain.
Best of Luck to You.
Pit Row
Good luck again!
Damn, sorry to hear that... Hopefully they can remove it successfully and it will be done for good! Keep fighting, lean on your support system of friends and family. Sending prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
This is the strongest anyone has been. I came in for surgery, 10-12 hours up until Wednesday about 5 PM. I got out of hospital about 1 PM Surgery on Friday. Not bad! Still staying as strong as anyone with the same gliosarcoma, but doing such what well being incredibly stronger keep in health. Completely deaf on left side in my ear for now. Doing excellent already!
Hang in there, buddy!
Continued prayers sent Y'alls way!
Jeez what a battle you have had, sending prayers and hope you stay mentally strong - m/in/law said that she had to but needed to focus on something positive for aim for, she chose great grandson and was determined to see him grow up. Now 14yold special boy gets spoiled.
Fingers crossed for positive results for you 🙏
Tyler, most people have no idea what it means to some of us when they ask "how's your day" and our answer is, "well, I'm here". And while they understand it may not be going so well that day, it's still a great fucking day because we're still here. Stay strong brother! On a side note, how original is that? You now have a big question mark on the side of your head! Tyler's new tag line, "question everything"
TM
Hey Tyler, keep up the positive thoughts. I hope the surgery will successfully keep it from spreading again. Sending prayers to you and your support system. We tend to forget how hard it can be on them as well. I know I did sometimes while going thru treatment for my cancer. Get well soon and keep us posted on your progress. Remember, chicks dig scars!
That’s great news!
Keep fighting Yz229. Best wishes.
Hello my good friends,
Everything going well! Working with Dr. Thomas Seyfried on any type of sickness, obesity, type 2 diabetes, ALL cancer. He is very famous on YouTube for great videos. I've been very healthy with working out. Down from 210lbs in July 10th to 165 at this point with very low fat, but great muscle. Also on over 4 months of carnivore diet with 4 times tallow fat and 1 time protein to reduce glucose and glutamine to kill tumors/camcer. My blood glucose goes low to 52 and over 3 ketosis (GKI below 1 which is very effective!). Doing all I can to defeat brain cancer! Was supposed to have only 12 months of survival. I'm at 12 months now with my brain looking great!
I love my family and little boys! They have been into their Stacycs, so happy to watch them ride. I still have my YZ315 stroker posted on Vital build threads, as well as my 1998 YZ400F and 2020 YZ450F. Hopefully I can go riding with my little boys in November!
Excellent news Yz229!! Great picture of your fam. I wish you continued progress.
F#CK Cancer. I appreciate every day, regardless of what it brings. I haven't gone through anything as extreme as you. Every clean blood test I get is a gift (4 years running).
Can't wait to see some pictures of you riding with the boys!
You look great man!
I admire you for putting in the work to take your diet in a direction that you believe will help you. You certainly have some motivation in the wonderful family you have.
Best of luck and keep us updated
