It’s 20 races with 1200 points up for grabs. No one is out unless you miss a complete race weekend at least.
20 races is to long, 15 to me in the perfect amount for motocross.
Anyone else think 20 is too much?
I think the qualifying with points and oversea races (at low attendance countries) are too much..
After crashing during the qualifying race of the first weekend and hurting his shoulder, Brian Bogers already flew back to The Netherlands. So 17 guys remaining in MXGP.
Lucas Coenen and Jeffrey Herlings taking the qualifying race wins.

Gajser needs to assert himself, Prado has always ridden the edge of a dirty rider and Herlings hit him twice. Neither incident was that bad here in Indonesia but Gajser needs to get his elbows out and show them he knows how to as well.
20 is too much specially with the qualifying races on top of that. Either less rounds or get rid of the qualifying race.
Nice race..is this in a fairgrounds parking lot?

The track appears to be built on a airport runway.
And that, it is, Boom!
So, from last years combination of a truly Great track at Sumbawa, followed by a Flat area track, that, well, much of the earth is made of (especially here in OZ), to twice in the same place.
Luongo must have wanted less expense / more money in his pockets, so opted for the simplistic option........
I've absolutely No problem with GPs in Indonesia - their, and other Asian , and South American markets sales, basically subsidize our Toys being made ( and heck, their Trick Big Wheel Scooters are Awesome - I'd love one to hoon about on here in OZ cities and suburbs) , but FFS, Guiseppie, stop dumbing it down, start giving Much More travel Assistance to the Teams / Riders, and, offer some to 'near countries' riders like was done in the 90s with the Indonesian ( and other Fly Aways events) GPs.
Herlings has been slowly starting to find it. Would love it if he clawed his way back and won this thing.
Herlings is just gettin better and better. Looks like he had This plan, get through the first half and then hit the afterburner.
gajser make a mistake there normaly it use to Herlings making those mistakes when pushing too hard. Prados self confidence looks to be a bit down aswell the starts aren’t that good and he couldn’t hold on Vlandeeren for 3RD
Prado is a fraudy rider. He won’t be much of a factor here because he’s soft.
Gajser and Herlings crash just as much as each other but one is made of rubber and the other one glass.
I spoke to Vlaanderen's dad a few weeks back and he told me that Calvin has found something with his setup which is now allowing him to push harder.
Calvin's results from the past month clearly show a consistent progression towards the front of the pack.
Very soon he will be competing for wins.
Edit - fixed the spelling.
With this being Prados last year in GPs it would be just pure awesome if we will have another 2021 season end with these 3 riders Gajser Prado Herlings. Last time it was raced on a Wednesday so it would be nice with a proper Sunday GP season finale by the end of this.

Does the stream keep buffering for anyone else?
Don't know as I only have live timing.
What's going on with Prado?
Seems like he just had an off weekend. Or maybe he was sick?
Herlings without a clutch still wins. Hoping he's back
Agreed, he definitely wasn't himself.
51 points for Herlings to Gajser it was something like that in the middle of 21 as i remember… Czech Republic Lommel Sweden Arnhem next. Was 71 after Maggiora.
Also if Herlings didn't have that mechanical in Portugal, assuming he went on to win that race, he'd only be 24 points off Gajser right now
What suprise me the most is that he fails the starts compare to how he use to do.
Congrats to Coenen and Herlings! Great races!
That is spot on, Signage is rediculous at the gps and why I don't go to the Indonesian races. I went to a couple Thai GP's and it was crap. I won't even bother going to Darwin.
