Over a 40 second gap from 4th to 5th. Lapped up to 15th place on a dry track.
There's a lot of talent, but the disparity between the top 4 and the next 12 then the rest is insane. It's basically three races in one, a race for 1st, a race for a top ten, and then everyone else. I can't believe there aren't 20 more badass dirt bike riders out there somewhere that could make this more interesting! I just want like 6 people that can win.
Be nice to have at least 10 more that were competitive though.
Why don't we every really get an attendance count at these races? It's hard to tell if there's 20,000 people there or 50,000. Most other sports mention attendance all the time.
Too many old guys that are just good enough to keep their factory ride but not good enough to challenge for a moto win.
Justin Cooper is getting more and more consistent. Hopefully he can continue to close the gap on Hunter and Chase as the season continues.

Oh I know, I raced the Montana (HCMA) series and the Wild West series growing up, and a lot of the most badass dudes in those would go race Washougal or whatever their local pro track was, and if they qualified, they'd be in the bottom 10. I get it. I got my ass stomped by dudes that never qualified for a pro race. Lol. I just feel like there's gotta be 20 more dudes out there with top 5 speed. Somewhere. Anywhere. Lol. Of course but realistically we are watching those few phenoms fight for podiums and sometimes forget those other 36 or so are absolute bad asses...just not the "cream".
