That mofo Newsom won't be happy until our tax rate is 100% and we're all living in sky high condo's stacked on top of each other and using nothing but public transportation. You been to SF lately ? You seriuosly can't want Newsom. Plus doesn't the rest of the country HATE California ? You think he'd have a snowball's chance in hell of winning ? Or do the dems all hate Trump so much they don't give a fuck ?

You like Newsom, ...... Gavin fucking Newsom...... part of the whole Pelosi family clusterfuck.  I think I'm out I don't even know where to start LaughingLaughing  Tell me what I'm missing ? Call me some names, I don't care we're all good I can handle it.  But Gavin Newsom ?  Aye aye aye I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on that one Cool  It's America you guys can vote for who you want. I'll keep plugging away no matter who wins and won't whine about but I feel like Newsom in the big house would be a very large and expensive mistake. ( Expensive for those of us who are actually productive I mean, not expensive for everybody of course)

As much as I dislike what he's done here from a conservative point of view, the dems love him. And he's one smart mofo.

The condition of this state is the accumulation of about 20 straight years of absolute Democrat rule. Including pussy whipped by a Kennedy Arnold. I've been here 71 years and have witnessed the decline that really started with Grey Davis. Arnold slowed it down a bit and Moonbeam Brown kicked it back in high gear. The legislature has been super majority Democrat for longer. Willy Brown was a major culprit. Kamala was polishing his knob as well as whoever else might get her somewhere.

It used to be a  great place to live until the !@#$ %^&* Democrats took full control.

Couldn't agree any more.

Newscum would swing the fence post voters who don't want Biden or Trump back into voting in November, and that's bad for the right. The dem's lose with Kamala.

Edited for grammar.

I actually thought it wouldn't be as bad when he got in and said he'd stop "the crazy train" but as time went on I knew I was wrong. We have the most expensive electricity in the nation. Probably water too. My mom's building they had in a neighboring city, wastewater bill was equal to water bill. We're on septic so we get a reprieve from that. But with all the money we pay, they don't even keep us safe in the big cities. Crazy!

He's probably one of the top 4 people to replace Biden. I'm very curious if our Dem members are excited enough about him to donate money or just, accept and vote for him.

I only get out to Cali for family or the races (was stationed at Travis for 3 years and spent some time at Rancho Cucamonga for work back in the days).  I absolutely love it out there.  I dig the ocean, the mountains, the desert.  I dig the people and the vibe.  I had thoughts of retirement there but there's just no way I could afford it.  I budgeted for Kansas prices not that insanity.Sad

I should have elaborated on saying dangerous. I meant dangerous as in running the country further into the ground, not just dangerous as a possible Democrat candidate this year. Apologies.

Pre covid prices were so much easier. But now with high prices and high interest rates, if I had to buy today, double wide for me.

Newsom has perfected the art of talking for ten minutes straight not miss a beat and  accomplish saying nothing. Absolutely nothing. Hundreds of empty words, numbers and statistics that equats to nothing but hot air global warming CO2 gas.

And the media that's supposed to hold him to account stands there with glazed over eyes like they've been hypnotized.

I like Gavin Newsom. He won the last election with 59% of the vote. He survived the recall with a higher percentage than that... It seems that a majority of this state likes him.

My marginal California income tax rate is around 5% before deductions. Where are you getting his 100% tax rate?

I'm going to skip responding to most of your crying

Yes I've listened to hundreds of politicians. The good the bad and the crazy. I've even listened to congressman Hank Johnson give  incoherent rambling dissertations about Thanksgiving dinner.

But we're talking about Newsom and measuring him against other people doesn't make him less of a gas bag.

Trump doesn't worry me. It's people like Hank Johnson that will be there long after Trump is gone that worry me.

If you don't know who he is You Tube Hank Johnsons craziest moments or something like that.

It's quite a thing to see.

How much property do you own? What are those taxes like?
How many business have you run? What are those taxes & regulations like? Employee taxes on top of hideous wage and deduction laws?
Sales tax…on top of all the other absolute stupid shit we pay for…sales tax, too?

Shall we discuss the price of energy here? Not just gas for your car…but, ELECTRICITY!

As someone that transits the major commuter corridors…how about “Infrastructure”?

Care to discuss the “Hundreds of Billions on a Train To Nowhere”?

Do you recall the Stalinesque bullshit during the Panickdemic?

Registered your car lately?

Here’s what you’re not talking about: Gavin and company tax the living shit out of us and you can’t explain what they’re doing with all that money. Then he gets up in front of the cameras and lies his ass off about it and you’re applauding that…?

Yes, Guam might capsize is a good one.

There's another one that he goes on about midgets, dwarfs, and little people. And a cage fight between a midget and a regular size person.

I can't tell if he's being serious or  making a mockery of Congress and giving everyone a big middle finger.

I would post a video but I don't  have the patience to figure out  this new stupid smart phone.

Newsome is cut from the same cloth that Trudeau is up here in Canada.

Isn't be pilot projecting a mileage tax with some "volunteers" that will be reimbursed?   Won't be much of a pilot, once its implemented.

While all of this is true, If you're (I know you're not, talking about everyone else who is) a dem ticket supporter, what I was really curious about is how much enthusiasm their nominee will have. Because they can pick anyone they want, it's how much the base loves or hates the ultimate pick that matters.

I'm personally not a fan of his policies but will readily admit he is a very smart guy. He memorizes all his statistics and never uses notes. Very quick witted also. I'd love to see a no holds barred debate between the two.

Adam Carolla has talked to him twice on air and he sounded like a pompous windbag unable to think straight both times.

Gob Bluth is the perfect descriptor.

"No country that values its safety should allow what the Milner group accomplished-that is, that a small number of men would be able to wield such power in administration and politics, should be given almost complete control over the publication of documents relating to their actions, should be able to exercise such influence over the avenues of information that create public opinion, and should be able to monopolize so completely the writing and the teaching of the history of their own period."

Carroll Quigley.                                                             The Anglo-American Establishment

Quigley (1910 - 1977) was a highly esteemed professor at the school of forgeign service at Georgetown University also Princeton and Harvard. Also a consultant to the US Dept of Defence, House Commitee on Astronautics and Space Exploration, as well as the US Navy.

We are living through an old old plan and no one is working for us.

Trump and Biden are both Jesuit educated and trained and are laughing at all of you who think either will fix anything...they've spent decades to get things to this point.

The Anglo American Establishment only 310 pages and you can know the plan.

You can go back to your make believe world now.

"Center Square) - Outmigration to other states cost California $24 billion in outgoing personal incomes across 2021 and 2022, according to new IRS data. Departing Californians were significantly wealthier and more likely to have children or spouses than incoming Americans, suggesting wealthy families are leaving the state as poorer individuals come to seek their California dream.:

I like Gavin Newsom. He won the last election with 59% of the vote. He survived the recall with a higher percentage than that... It seems that a majority of this state likes him.

My marginal California income tax rate is around 5% before deductions. Where are you getting his 100% tax rate?

I'm going to skip responding to most of your crying

Crying ? Pfffft ok, blah blah blah whatever guy.  I did say you were high and go ahead call me names cause I don’t care so fair enough. Touche’. Laughing Tell you what I’m never going to get you to understand why (I don’t think) GN is the bowl of cherries you seem to think he is. You actually think he cares about you and wants to improve your quality of life ?  And your kids and their kids quality of life ? I’m the opposite. He doesn’t give a shit about me, my family, or my grandkids. No way.  How old are you ? Just curious? I’m 65.  As far as my “100% tax” comment ? That was an attempt at humor making fun of the fact that EVERY SINGLE YEAR we pay a higher percentage of our income for taxes, I think you knew what I meant. I think Newsom is pissing on us and you think it’s a nice spring shower. No point in arguing we just have 2 different opinions, get out and vote, I’ll do the same and onward we go.

Edit: While you were on your quote and respond roll why didn’t teamgreens post make your list ? Too many hard questions ?

Question for the CA residents:  why not relocate?  Non-Moto is littered with rants against a tyrannical government and socialist policies that apparently make for dire living conditions.  Do the advantages of a Cali lifestyle outweigh the detriments?  Or would a shift in Sacramento have only a moderate impact?

As soon as it makes sense I will. Wherever my son's family goes when they leave SC is probably where I will go. What's left of the rest my family and friends are all here plus I still have work here. I doubt things will change here politically to the extent that it will ever benefit me.
