The guy would consistently do better than some riders who presently have factory contracts.
We have Ferry, we don't need Larocco anymore!
I have a lot of respect for ML but Ferry is doing the best Rock's immitations the last 2 seasons!!!
Just sayin..

True... i'm just sayin they would finish better than preston..
How about Kelly Smith... or some of the arena cross guys.. maybe thats who's going to replace some of these factory riders with injuries..
The way he handled it still doesn't make any sense. Don't get me wrong, i'm pulling for him, but.. you just think they would have given it to someone who has worked hard during the off season or maybe could have done it nick wey style, showing that a privateer can go out there and get support and still do well. To give up and wait for 09, just seemed like the easy way out. Luckily for him an opportunity came.. but he should have been ready if thats what he was hoping for all along, not to just ride back into speed.
MM
not really....
I would imagine his decision to work supercross was to spend time with his family. His parents work with live nation, and i'm sure
his wife and kids liked being able to walk across the street from the hotel to check out dad in front of thousands of fans, instead of in 100 degree weather in outdoors, usa.
Those guys are done for sure. My post was to say that they would still whoop prestons azz..

I doubt any of them would finish better than preston. Larocco would be the only one with a chance. Ryno retired struggling in the lites class, dowd isn't that great of a SX rider and only did exceptionally well a couple outdoor tracks late in his career. Not dissing them, but give preston a few races. did you forget he was consistently faster than everyone but the top 3 before he got hurt last?
BRING BACK THE WHOPPER!!! haha just had to do that.
MM
I agree. It was horrible to watch MC race for eighth place when he came back out of retirement.
