I was periodically looking at Chase’s Dad standing on the tower watching the race and I’ve never seen a man look so dejected in my entire life.

Hunter can't stay on team Honda next year. That would be dumb.

Congrats to Hymas! Love seeing a guy who rides some off-road win in moto! It might be a Hymas-Deegan duel now.

I think Masterpool was playing nice staying behind Kitchen and finally decided he had to go.

Jett wins the title easily unless he throws it away. He still had a couple of 'moments' today.

Sure would have been nice if Eli & Kenny were out there.

The highs are high and the lows are low.

Keir wears all of it on his face/body language. He is rumored to be very intense and I definitely caught some of it today.

To be clear because things tend to get taken the wrong way in here sometimes; in no way do I think this is bad, I just happened to catch this moment.

Haiden showed again today in moto 1 how much determination he has to win, you can't teach that.

He starts minimising his mistakes and gets better with technique he's going to be a force.

Hymas keeps improving. I think his fitness was holding him back last year but he seems to have it figured out now. Would we at Vital consider hima title contender or still a little off from Deegan and Vialle overall.

Sure looks for real to me. He's constantly at the front with great starts and top end speed. It's not like he's great one moto then a 12th the next. Let's see what the confidence of a moto win does for him next week. I'll be at High Point cheering for him. No excuse for Shimoda's starts when Chase is ripping holeshots, too.

Joe beat all of the PC team but didn't beat his new teammate. Gonna get interesting at HRC if that trend continues.

Jo did start the season with an injury, to be fair. But Chance is just ripping.

I genuinely want to see what Jo can do with a top 3 start. He looked the part in that second moto and his lap times were consistent but he is shooting himself in the foot with poor starts.

Can't understand why Chase was not racing up front competing for a win.

Did they get their settings wrong or did the high from last week choke him today?

It's a shame he can't spend a bit of time preparing for the podium speech.

My only gripe with Matthes currently after watching him perform a few post race interviews in real life today is that he doesn’t use headphones while using his Zoom recorder to monitor the interviews he gets. For someone who is adamant about having good audio quality, this is such an oversight. Even Kellen monitors his audio via his video camera’s audio output and headphones. Come on Steve, this is some amateur level recording stuff. You’re just going to trust that level meter on your Zoom H6? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also, having your phone recording a voice memo at the same time would create redundancy god forbid you have some technical difficulties with your recording device. YOU’RE WELCOME STEVEN!!! 🙃😂

Haven’t read all 16 pages, but did anyone mention how well Swoll rode? He kept Vialle honest right to the end.

Jetts only 6 points down on chase after 1 race. Ppl last week were asking if it would even be possible for jett to catch up by the end if he won every race… Smidge premature there.

People want to believe but in reality Chase will never beat Jett. Jett is just straight up better

Somehow I think Chase’s story is gonna arc back to Honda via a Phoenix deal and that’s how he returns to his consistent race winning form. He can’t be consistent on the KTM - the settings are a disaster and they either luck onto a setup that works or not (mostly not), he at least had race winning speed every weekend on that Honda but he just happens to be racing at a time when there’s a future all-timer starting to make his way to the mountaintop. I can’t see him staying at KTM - now that he’s risked leaving Honda I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls the pin with KTM and tries Yamaha or something else that’s new. He needs aluminum frame! Signed: someone who wouldn’t know but hey it’s vital.

Some of Jett's fans are reminiscent of Jeff Gordon fans. Earnhardt fans went nuts over the new kid from outside of NASCAR country. It actually revitalized Dale's career and was a great rivalry. Then former motocrosser Jimmy Johnson came in and blew everyone away with his consistency and won 7 titles. He had a personality eerily similar to Ryan Dungey and people got bored and many departed. Kenny, Coop, and Eli are long in tooth and can't consistently challenge the new kid on the block. Hopefully some of these young guns in the 250 class will eventually provide that challenge. If not the open class is going to get mighty boring as Jett adds on to his garage for yet another new whip.

So the points at first had said jett was 6 points down on chase but now it says hes 10 down, is that why it took so long for the official results to come out? What was the cause of the 4 point change?
