it looks like he had a small child draw a picture of a dirt bike...and then he tried to build an actual dirt bike that looked just like their picture...

This reminded me of a bike I saw a few months ago. I snapped a few pics so I could admire this work of art even further. Gotta love the high rise tank.

Woah. Just woah.
This thing is probably the most amazing ever.

The nightmare of all nightmares.

Is the "top shock mount" actually mounted on the "subframe"?

Someone turn him in to the DOT. He stole a couple of street signs to build those upper frame rails.😆

When I was in the Corps, they had these posters in the battalion office...  I was stationed in the high desert (29 Palms).

Come on dude, save some trim for the rest of us.

He had me at the point I noticed the pipe is held on by safety wire.  SLEEK BUILD.

Works kit on this one. I know its 2001, but this was MC's works bike. Only thing left is the Suspension. Easily worth 15k.

Knock 2 zeroes off and I would buy, but shipping is expensive, so maybe locals only

I'm not buying until I know what color the powerband is.

I hear the Factory Edition version comes with Icon combo wrenches instead of the standard Harbor Freight ones…

I also like how some folks lock wire their exhaust mount bolts, this guy uses lock wire instead of exhaust mount bolts.

Apocalypse Edition…😂😂😂

Hollywood will pay full price for it, and it will be in the next mad max movie.  then a cult following will form and create an entire community doing these types of builds. we can say we remember when we saw it on vital before the seen took off..

Don't forget to torque the sprocket bolts.

You gotta admit, there's this morbid curiosity to go look at the bike and meet the dude that built it . . .

Might actually make for a great interview.

Just watch Soft White Underbelly's interview with The Whittakers on YouTube, same deal 😂

It's a dude who used to be Google's main man photographer interviewing a severely limited gene pool family from out in the sticks in West Virginia.

I imagine there will be parallels.

It looks like a movie prop, and is to me a better 'post apocalyptic' bike than the new Furiosa Movie which has Brand new WR450's with stuff on them and Brand New BMW road bikes with stuff on them.

This is weird enough to actually feeling post apocalyptic and built from parts

There's really some design innovation there.  Yamaha thought it was a big deal with the reversed cylinder?  Psssh, please.  How about a reversed, (and shortened) seat?  Remove the rear brake equipment for lighter weight, but keep the disc to balance out the rotational inertia of the rear wheel.  Multi- position insertion points for the subframe into the main "frame" for quick and easy ride height adjustments.  On and on.

I was thinking about a road trip with a trailer until I read the description.  1.5 inch funnel?  Blew the whole thing for me.  Everybody knows any funnel beyond 1.4 is just unrideable.

Thanks for posting OP.  Pure gold.
