Even though only one bike has ended up inthe stands, they are worried about it.
I agree with Chad that they need to think a bit motre about the riders safety as well.

It is a misconception and arrogant to think that because a pro rider can race a motorcycle fast that he is right on all aspects of the game.
Here's what I'm gonna say about name calling and all that. If RV comes out and says, the same thing as Chad. And you guys say, still he is wrong, he would have still crashed. I'm gonna agree you are morons. Right now, it's each their own opinion. I'll take the side of Champion Supercrosser's and other pro's who were racing that event.
As for name calling, what type of thought process does someone have that thinks arguing a topic makes you a poosey?
JT$ is saying a line of riders. So are you calling him a liar?
True it would have been more rounded if they had chopped off the feet AND made it more rounded, which they should have done.
What about all the other things in my post or are you going to gloss over them?
You really trying to misconstrue what I said into me calling him a liar? You are searching hard.
It does not matter regarding anything other than the landing. I'm sure he did drag. Doesn't negate the fact that the landing was 6 foot tall and it should have been 3 foot tall. Have you ever ridden a supercross track? Different landings have different decisions on when you bail or don't bail. There have been a ton of times riders came up short on a 3-4 foot landing and just case it and ride it out. But when there is a landing that is actually higher than a takeoff, not the case. Plus, RV may not have dragged his frame, which has a skid plate on it, if he didn't have to worry about preloading and jumping so high to clear the 6 foot landing. With the change of that landing, many things would have changed, including how RV took off.
Pit Row
So nothing on the take off, just mid air and the landing? Why do you think he was in the predicament he was in while mid-air?
He would have "eaten shit" had it been 2 or 3 feet shorter IMO.
Bunch of damn psychics on this board.

Chad Reed was right. It was way dangerous, there is absolutely no arguing that.
My question to all the people that are arguing on the side of blaming the track, Dirt Werx, AMA and anybody else is...
Where do you draw the line? Do you change something whenever anybody complains? OR just Chad Reed, "factory guys"? What if, there is a dangerous section few are doing and one rider doesn't feel comfortable, do you change it becasue that rider doesn't like it?
I wish it were like that because I spent years puckering my ass everytime I went for something I wasn't comfortable doing.
This is a tough argument to have over the internet, because I am all for safety, I am sure NOBODY here on these boards wants to see anyone hurt.. Shit I wish nobody got hurt.... EVER.
I remember hearing at times of problems because a particular factory would complain about something and another would want the obstacle to stay for an advantage. I am willing to bet the Dean Wilson din't mind the obstacle being there since it gave himself a place to pass CP.... Without CP choosing to double Dean may have never had an opportunity to get around him. It's a tough call.
For the reading impared.

Chad Reed was 100% right it was unsafe to triple that section with the third jump being peaked and the take off having ruts.
I mean jesus, who is going to argue with CHAD REED? Seriously, that isn't what I am saying. I think you would have to be retarted to argue with that.
Post a reply to: Chad Reed explains it all.
